I mean.. seriously. Grr... I should've set up someone at SDCC to buy one for me. I mean.. GRR!

Well, there goes 6 hours of my life that I will never get back.  Thanks, Hasbro. 

 

Anywho, I just called 3x, and talked to 3 different reps who told me the following:

 

"The website has been updated to show "OUT OF STOCK" as a stopgap measure to slow down traffic on the site and into the call center."

 

"At this time, we are not going to be honoring the earlier phone orders, but that may change."

 

"We do not know when the item is going to be available on the website, or IF AT ALL." 

 

"Check back tomorrow to see if any further info is available."

 

Seems like they are being a little more consistency in their answers, too.  Looks like the call center UM just got off his fat ass and asked someone what was going on and made a decision anyway.

 

Once again, a big, resounding "THANKS HASBRO!!!!!!" :finger

as stated before, i havn't gotten an email yet... but yea, they TOTALY under-estimated demand for this guy and even though i got a phone order in, he should be a mainstream release imo, if for no other reason than to make up for this whole Powerglide up

yea, i forget what thread it was posted in, but it was def sig worthy :-P  $25 + shipping is the limit for me, 25 was pushing it, but i knew i wasn't going to get it any other way.  i know i'll be tempted to put normal OP on lay away if i ever find him, but if i get NEM OP, my hunt officialy ends for the mould.

Apparently, what casued most of the bandwidth problems was the Star Wars exclusive...........

 

 

As for Nemesis Prime, the odds are not everyone who wanted to get on from HTS is going to get one.  There's still plenty on eBay however.

i dont think changing it to outofstock helped them at all lol.

hmmm i realy somehow doubt them not honoring the phone orders, sounds like it's a just a nice way to say "OMG STFU AND STOP CALLING!"

 

if they don't honor the phone orders and send an email saying they arn't, meh, it'll make me a little mad but i'd understand, however if they don't send the email, then offer it on the site it'll piss me off.... they're Powerglideing hasbro, they should make an official announcment saying that it's been postponed until X date, that way they can at least crank out at least a thousand to sell on the site.  if nothing else they owe the fandom that anyway... i'm willing to bet that alot of ppl missed work and school today.
