I think all of us should pause to consider just how close the Transformers brand was to a horrible death in 1996.

I'm not totally diging on a ravage jaguar. 

1) we have a ravage and don't need two (the current one is a shelf warmer in some store here already)

2) if it's beast wars etc, what was the point of doing a G1 version since that was a beast as well...

3) There are plenty of good (and lame) G1 characters still left.

On the good side, I'm not sure what they could repaint a beast wars jaguar alt as :-)  so atleast we'd get remolds not repaints (in theory).

These would also be the first alts released as decepticons first...

Their just killing time (aka toy filler) before all the good Car models are used for the movie line, for which I believe will branch FROM Alts.

I hate massive size differences in toys, wich is why my collection is limited to Alts right now.

I agree 100% plow. Much as I liked some of the energon and cybertron toys, how bad does it suck to have a jeep or communications truck smaller than a sportscar, or a gigantic ass motorcycle that dwarfs a jet?  Thats why I ve pretty much sold everything off but my alts, as well as E-arcee and C-lugnutz since theyre both more or less to scale...

It's always bothered me a bit too (since it's been that way since 1984), but I think 1:24 scale is a bit much to ask if you're talking about characters that transform into tanks and jets.

I am sure that will happen. But i was commenting on someone's post where they said - that they sold off their energeon and Cybertron collection except for lugnutz cause the cars and jets were not to scale.... which just seems a dumb priority if you ask me.
