NEW ALTERNATOR LISTINGS IN WAL*MART COMPUTERS: Here are some new listings for Transformers: Alternators in Wal-Mart's computers. These listings should peak the interested of Alternators fans.

 

TRA ALTNATRS SCION 2 = 81331 (Description says "TRA SCION 2006".)

TRA ALTNATRS CADI X = 81333 (Description says "TRA CADI XLR".)

TRA ACCURA INTEGRA R = 81359 (known to be Camshaft.)

TRA JAGUAR - RAVAGE = 81361 (Not to be confused with the Corvette Ravage.)

 

Also reported before, but yet to be released are:

 

TRA ALT FORD MUSTAN = 81336 (????)

TRA ALT HONDA CIVIC = 81351 (Rumble)

Excited to see that we got some new alt molds on the way. Looks like an "official" announcement that Alt Megatron is finally upon us!

 

My call:

 

Scion = Ironhide (or maybe Broadblast - YUCK!)

 

Cadi = Megatron - no doubt. It was announced months back.

 

Jaguar = Ravage must be a placeholder name. They wouldnt  do that to us (would they???) I'm guessing Starscream!

 

Ford Mustang = one of the Stunticons. Maybe Wildrider, Breakdown (apt for a Ford).

this sounds nice but untill i see protos im not going to think to much of it

We got The Ram, GT and Civic. Listening to them at Botcon, They do still owe us 3 more New molds.....Unless they were including the xB

I really hope they don't put out another Ravage.  that's just lazy.

Lazy..? Every new Car mold has an all new Transformation scheme. As we've seen with Rumble, they're trying to push the alts to the next level. Maybe the speculation is right and if it is Ravage, he's a triple changer. If it's true and this after thought bot does come out 2 things. 1, it's our faults for all those suggestions for the previous Ravage and 2, too bad they wasted one of the Corvette molds on Ravage *thinks it should have been Wheeljack and the Mustang retool should have been some one else......Bluavenger's Downshift*

Don't get me wrong, I love alts.  I don't think the designers are lazy.  I just think that making another car ravage, when there are so many others to choose from, is lazy.  If that's just a placeholder name, then I've got no beef.

We'll See. Prowl didn't turn out to be Red alert so. I cant think of any other character for the Jaguar to be.

Yeah - Im stumped too really. Starscream would be a real stretch.

Hot Rod or should we say Rodimus, should be the GT repaint. That's who the BT version was gonna be any way.

I personally don't have a problem with repaints IF they're done properly that is. Despite all the love I've heard for Alt Sunstreaker I somehow ended up with a Rico/Rollbar quality alt. As for those two easy passes. Not only did hey not get remolded heads but from what I understand they were very poor KO quality. From what I've seen of him I'm already sold on Camshaft. No head change but at least the quality looks to have stepped up a notch. The Scion. I am really  hoping for a Decepticon repaint here but chances are it will either be Ratchet or Ironhide. Either one IMO could look decent for that mold without a headchange but heres hoping for a high quality redeco with possible alterations from the original. The only way I am going to bother with another Scion is if Hasbro does a really impressive job on it and doesn't use some throwaway character like Rico or Rollbar. Guess the same could be said the uberghey Camshaft but I see him as Bluestreak. Silverstreak I aways saw as self contained within the line having nothing to do with G1.

 

New molds. Optimus isn't exactly new anymore and despite the obvious flaws the mold has I think I'll remain undecided until I have him in hand. Same goes for Mirage though I can already assume he'll be a whole lot better but still have his share of issues. Rumble. Whatever happened to that mold? Caddy XLR. Hate to say it but this is probably Megatron though y'all probably knew that already. All I can really say at this point is, meh, whatever. Prime was downscaled to a dodge Ram so it makes perfect sense Megatron would eventially recieve the same treatment. The Jag. Ravage, Why. They already made one out of the Vett. Don't have any problems with the Vett mold being used for Ravage but another seems kinda redundant. Starscream IMO is unlikely as are any of the other Decepticon seekers. It's my personal belief that we'll be seeing them soon enough all plastic versions of Takaras Starscream prototype. Would definitely explain whay MP SS was scaled to be little taller than an alt. If anything the jag is going to be an Autobot character and probably be either Steeljaw or Cheetor. Heh, thought I'd throw it out there.

 

LMH. I agree with the upcoming movie line more than likely being another alt line in itself the continuation of alt line at this point does seem kind of pointless. Seeing as well never got an Alt Bumblebee and BB is already slated as being a prototype camaro I am really hoping the Movie line is an extension of the Alt line in the same scale. Already seeing both alt modes for Devestator, and Bonecrusher I can not wait to see there toy incarnations. :clap

 

I must really be growing up but after collecting most of A/E/C I already have more love and anticipation for the Alt line than the upcoming Classics figures. :redface I honestly don't know what it is about them that keeps me thinking Armada redux. I honestly don't.

they weren't that bad.  Mine are on par with any other alt.  Rico's arms stay in the socket better than my BT-07.
