really... who gives a care about bumblebee?

Recommended Posts

Because he got as much air time everyone else combined usually. Plus he was Spike's buddy, without the annoying rhyming couplets of Wheelie.

Next to Optimus Prime, Bumblebee is my second most hated TF character. Why? He's the lapdog/needy type that wants everybody to like him. I hate people like that, so there's no reason I have to be sympathetic to a toy.

Bumblebee was a neat character as far as I am concerned.

He was like the bigger brother to the Autobots. And I think a lot of people can identify with him.

I mean, he looks at the larger Transformers such as Prime, Jazz or Prowl with awe because they are either good leaders, cool or logical. His own lack of physical strength only helps fuel his self doubt making him forget that he has a lot of useful skills himself.

I think it is a very human trait. People often look at others seeing only what they have (and wanting it) while forgetting their own qualities.

The other cool factor that Bumblebee had was his alt mode. He was a Volkswagen Beetle, the most produced car in the world. And even if Volkswagen is a pain in the skidplate when it comes to Alt Bumblebee, I still like the Beetle as a car.

It just has something even if it is anything but a fast sports car.  :tftongue

Bumblebee > Wheelie. And NO ONE can argue with that.

I see BB as beeing a little always getting hurt Guy,  Prime should have made Him guard the base when the Autobots were going to Battle the Decepticons.  I dont think He could help win the Battle.

Bumble Bee was cool but I see his role more as a spy, because most of the Decpticons can woop his behind. :usa

I didn't, til he got a faithful headsculpt.  Fact is, I really don't like the G1 minibots.  I did buy it cause it was a tf keychain, though.  And we're finally getting G1 figures with articulation.  I owe it hasbro to buy all from the first two waves to hopefully have a chance of this line making it past that point.

George Bush doesn't care about Bumblebee, and neither do I.  But his Classics toy does look cool, and I'll buy it.

To All

Bumblebee's basically the everyman - the symbolic character onto whom insecure and unconfident individuals like myself can relate to and transfer their own thoughts and feelings onto; it's the same principle as stylized comic art, especially Manga - the more symbolic the appearence of the character (i.e. the degree of shift away from realistic portrature), the greater degree of empathy/transposure that takes place between the reader/viewer and the character.

Anybody who doesn't relate to or like Bumblebee was probably the cool kid who everybody venerated as a god among men at school and thus related more to someone like Jazz or Blaster, for example

To Doomtron

How's it going man - remember me - Soundwave010 from Transtopia? :wave

Did you finish the Soundwave?
