seriously, tf statues are a super waste of money. why would some one want to buy a non-transforming incarnation of a transformer? you take away the ability to transform, you take away 50% of what makes a transformer.

The statues are great. WW Prime Grimlock Bumblebee the insecticons. Busts are not so hot but the statues rock.

I tend to agree w/ Xamot. The busts are no good, but the statutes are pretty good for what they are... immobile, non-transforming, but cartoon accurate figures. Gimme my modern figs that TF and are cartoon accurate.

However, I have seen plenty of collections of TFs, but none of the statutes. I bet if someone had them all, and displayed them right, it would be highly impressive.

I'd never buy a TF statue... UNLESS!!! I there was a statue of Prime or any other bot that I like which is made into a fountain and had the bot taking a piss, then.... maybe.

Statues are, in my opinion, marketed for people looking for nostalgia from their childhoods (a big thing as 20-30 somethings hit their disposable income phase), but don't want to get weird looks by collecting toys.

I totally agree with you, Hornet. Statues suck. I hated Action Masters they couldn't transform... if I want a little display piece of these characters, I'd get the SCF PVCs...
