There IS a God...  And his name is Shoji Kawamori.

ALL HAIL THE HOLY FROATING HEAD OF KAWAMORI!!!!  GIVE THANKS FOR HIS DESIGN WORK ON THIS BEAUTIFUL WORK OF ART!!!!!!!!!

Ah, I see Bainreese looking at this. You have to post pics when you get the proto. Pics from all angles, in different stances, and both modes obviously, plus comparison shots w/ Prime. The fandom is counting on you man!!!

Was just looking at the thread over at the Allspark

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

most of the members posting in that thread seem to be b*tching about the size of the toy. it's like allsparkers are incapable of being happy about tf-related news :roll

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

It seems like that here too some times.

Was just looking at the thread over at the Allspark and apparenly Starscream's 22 cm tall in robot mode. In other words, just slightly taller then an alt.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

So, alternator Starscream finally come to fruitation then?  :tfgrin

I like this... I like it a lot. :clap

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

It would be so cool if they released Special edition Starscream and gave us all plastic Alternators Skywarp and Thundercracker......Sunstorm.......some made up guy.......an Arielbot using Starscream's mold :redface

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Damnit Tman you beat me too it. :tflaugh

Speculation for the most part yes, but I wouldn't be surprised in the least if this is what Hasbro had in mind from the beginning. For one the fandom has been recieving "rumours of alt jets since what is it already mid last year. Expectedly as all other rumours (Dodge Ram alt anybody) they fade away and die and then suddenly out of the blue it's like holy crap MP Starscream to be released. What really gives it away for me is the close scale in relation to the alt line. Seriously come on, like Takara couldn't scale him alongside MP Prime. :roll Personally I think they would've seeing as this is an MP class figure but obviously the mold isn't meant to stop there. Repaints be they anything is what Hasbro does best and people know it and will buy it.

Worst case senario is Hasbro nixes all the cool extras, accessories, and metal for a toy that will cost probably ten bucks more than an alt. When that sells they milk the living hell out of the mold and give us Thundercracker, Skywarp, and Sunstorm, and possibly any others I missed. Personally as an only alt collector I wouldn't mind new, cool, articulate, and realististic all plastic alt jets but some I know would. I think Hasbro should go the extra mile with this mold and release Starscream as is with all the bells and wistles and while I'd hope for the same reguarding other characters I don't have a problem at all with them releasing them as all plastic alts. If decent and just as cool I'd buy em. :thumb Just for the love of Primus leave Starscream as is. It's a good first time mold, don't cheapen it. :tfmad

I don't think so. All I remember is seeing the miscolored test shots later on. You know, when Prime had clear parts and off color red parts and was just horribly miscolored (you can still find these on ebay from time to time). Either way, I am counting on Bainreese to get his hands on one earlier than everyone else and to provide some kickass pics. Oh yeah, and some pics of all of the accessories, ie the stand and whatever else he comes w/ plus all the little gimmicks, would be nice.

oh, man.  i think i just painted my pants.  i'm pre-ordering in a week.  hopefully i won't get put on a waiting list.  i must own three eventually, but one is a good start.  this is the single greatest thing i've seen since mp prime.  takara, i love you.

Loki, if I'm not wrong, I remember the Dodge Ram, Neon Alt Jets rumor since the end of 2004. When Prime turned out to be real, My hopes got up a little bit. There's no telling what HasTak has up their sleeves. As Realistic as Screamer's Jet mode looks (at least for the top down view) I dont see why they couldn't be Alternators.

*tears of joy*

If Hasbro doesn't release it here, then it proves the comapany is run by  :monkey's

And I shall lead an army of very P'OD Fanboys to burn, pillage and destroy Hasbro UK.

Because that is possibly the second most Sexalicious thing in the world.

About damn time we get a starscream with knees.  I want see how good he can hold poses before I make any judgements.
