Could you live without TF's and a TF fix?

Recommended Posts

Noticed this kind of topic in another forum and I'm curious what others would say to it.

Could any of you live without TF's in your life at any time?  Or is it hard to live life without even a little TF fix?  I've managed without TF's before, so I know I would manage without them again if I were to get rid of the collection at some point in the future.  I'm more interested in books and history, TF's are just a small thing.

After all there's more important things in life, well not in mine due to things happening that's left me in debt, but I know there are still important things in life.  So what about the rest of you?

obviously you can live without them, it's just a hobby, to some it's a way of making a living, but we existed and survived before tf's came along ^_^  hell i'd have ALOT more money if i didn't collect but meh, it's what makes me happy.  i need to hold off so i can finish my car audio though lol

I'd be more wealthy without Transformers. No doubt. But, I don't think I'd be as happy. Of course, I would probably just find another hobby or something. :)

could i live? yes. Would i have to find a new hopbby quickly? yes. What would it be? I have many other hobbies, but most likely Godzilla, He Man, or Dino Rider...and go bots

we existed and survived before tf's came along ^_^

I didn't. :tftongue

I could live without any new ones.  I'd miss my old ones if I had to sell them or lost them or something.  but I could definately live without them, and I'd probably get over them in about a year or so.  I'd just pick up a new hobby, like gundums or something.  Or just spend more $ and time on comics.

I could live w/o them, but I really like the fix I get when I get a new one. Honestly though, that might just be from the shopping fix that everyone gets.

I agree w/ EricB, if it wasn't TFs, it would be something else.

Living without them wouldn't be too difficult. If anything I'd be a hella lot richer and my room would be more orginized.

If I did altogether quit I'd probably by that 400+ CND digital video cam I've wanted to for quite sometime and get back into indie movie making.

For the time being though TFs make me happy and are a really fun hobby be it collecting/kitbashing to get into. After I break the bank with Cybertron (such cool figures, can't really afford to miss any) I'm expecting a serious drop in the volume of TFs released. Aside from several new alts, the BWs leaders, Titaniums, and Classic G1 there won't be anything IMO as extensive or expensive as the last two main lines. I see that as a really good thing. :thumb

never actually thought about it.  But I think I could afterall they are just toys. :tftongue

I would not want to do it, but I'm sure I could.  There are plenty of other things to enjoy in life.
