Could you live without TF's and a TF fix?

Recommended Posts

Yes, I could.  This is something I do for fun.  There are so many other more important things in life than toys.

Yes. My interest is intellectual, based on the designs of the toys, and the background and mythology of the Transformers as a Universe as well as characters, but it's not something I cannot live without. It's not an addiction. It's merely amusement.

I could live w/o them. I would have more money to spend, but again I would probably spend It on something similar. :usa

well if i moved back to the big city and got back into the party life and quit caring about every thing again than yes......but now that i have changed my life for the better, not really id collect something and have a hobby of some sort, mainly toys of some sort, i went on a vacation/family reunion for a week last week, and went through transformers with drawels *twitch* ttwitch*.....

when my house burnt up in 2002 the only thing i cried about was my first collection that i lost, and all the toys i would never see again, or ever be able to afford again..not the tvs not the house, the toys, and  other collectibles and keep sakes, but now transformers are my anti drug/ anti bad life style .... they keep me happy and boy do i have so much fun rearranging my toys and transforming them, but transformers arnt the only thing i collect...they are just my main focus, i collect all kindsa toys

Guess I could if I had to but as with many others, I would just find another hobby.

I do love getting a box with new Transformers or even old ones I bought from eBay. Today I won G1 Rewind for 10 Euro. I know it is a little expensive for a tapeformer without weapons but I am buying him with several others.

Besides he is an archivist and that is my job so it felt fitting.  :tflaugh

So I guess I could not easily give it up.

Yeah i could live without them, i've been more interested in the stories than the toys in recent years.

could i live with out tf's? I'm sure that I could but damn would it be a dull exisitance.  I was in to them back in the g1 days as a kid and my parents wouldnt buy them for me becuse mom and pop were cheap A$$'s. Then by the time g2 rolled around I could give a crap less about tf's. I then went thrue what I'll call a 'phase'(drinking partying etc) a friend bought me a TM rat trap as a joke gift, and she started that ball rolling for collecting again.  They kinda helped stableize me, and got me back on the right track. I'ev been a pretty hardcore collector pretty much for the last 8 years.

I'm honestly starting to get a little burnt on it the past two lines have been meh for me.  I loved(not embarrassed to say it) armada, the toon was cheesey as all get out but they toys were fun you know?  I just hope hasbro does something kickass after the movie line.

If not I might give up the game.  I doubt I'll sell off any of my stuff when that happens. Tf's were the only thing keeping me a kid at heart, but now that I'm 26 now, and I'ev got a kid of my own. I think I'll just leach off of her inner child, and maybe she'll like her daddies TF's someday.  Thats a good excuse to keep collecting right (she's only one right now :P )

hmmm long story short, yes I can but man I'd be right, but bored

Once again, No!

I could live without them.  After Gen 1 I stopped collecting, Recently I have purchased some TF Alternators.  But, I still buy Gen 1 TF's on ebay.  I would probably own more Guns if it were not for Transformers.  Shooting is one of My other Hobbies. :Dc
