Sparks are stupid, Transformers should just be machines.

and yes, I'm serious.

BEAST MACHINES'D

*doesn't really consider Beast Machines to be "Transformers" since it's not a cartoon from the 1980's*

part of the 80's continuity though

The Space Bridge, transwarp ships, and even mass shifting tells me differently. Besides, do you honestly think writers & artists in the 80s could correctly convey the fact that they are?

Though with that in mind, it's logically possibly to view G1 in different ways, so... whatever floats your boat.

It's as much of a cop-out excuse as the pseudo-rebuttal of "God is mysterious" and that humanity lacks the capacity to understand His great scheme. Pppffffttt. :P :P

Transwarp was invented in the Beast Era, and the Space Bridge plus Mass Shifting can be explained with Earthan Psuedo-Science.

Very good point in theory, but if you think deeper into it, that's really not the best example to use. Their god is what they honestly belive in; what they think is honestly true... giant alien transforming robots are fictional, thus anything can go. Since there's no giant alien transforming robots to compare these to, there's no way to tell anyway.

Okay.
