i'd say open it, but if you intend to sell them years (or eons) down the road you should be careful of what to break open and what not....i think it's best not to apply their stickers (just like someone said in this thread) and stuff that cannot be easily disassembled after assembly (such as the super god sword)  if you do plan to sell them in the future

If I were to ever buy an E-Hobby TF, he would be out of the box and transformed within minutes of arriving in the post.  It's a waste of money if you buy it, but never open it.

i pretty much open every toy i buy. the only exceptions are complete sets that i intend to display in box, or stuff that i find to look much cooler in the box than sitting free on a table (which isnt very much)

I opened my E-Hobby Victory Saber set. Even dropped it a few times while trying to get it displayed. (Whoops, but it survived, yay!) Would I take it down and play with it? you betcha.

Would I take it apart and kitbash it into the nifty Victory Saber kitbash someone posted ages back? Noooo.

But still, it's a toy. If you have regular Blaster/Broadcast...I'd say if y'wanna leave Twincast in the box, it's cool...but if not, take 'im out and play with it!

It's all up to you, really.

Aoi

open it if you want... if you're keeping it sealed for future value, invest in IRAs... not TFs.

that is so getting added to my sig :thumb

I think its crap that you would get down on him if he chose NOT to open them.  I happen to think alot of figures look great when boxed. And being what we are talking about here aren't new molds, he can get a loose older vintage toy to play with while keeping his E hobby figures in their shiny prisons.

Open 'em if you want, keep 'em misb if you want.  But don't come here asking for advice cause you don't get much thats worth anything. they are your toys, enjoy them EXACTLY how YOU like regardless of what we think.

however, I do agree with not worrying about future value so much as how you like them displayed.  Don't invest in transformers, or any hobby.  Have fun with it.

Nobody's bagging him (her) out for not opening his E-Hobbies. He asked if anyone else opened theirs... we answered. Don't wanna hear the answer, don't ask the question. :P

Yeah, but the difference is that unlike E-Hobby TFs, the G1.5 Constructicons are worthless. In order for something to have worth, it must have low supply and high demand. The G1.5 Constructicons have low supply, but also low demand. :P :P I have like two of these Constructicons. Got one given to me for free, another I found cheap at a market. I've chances to complete the set, but I just can't be bothered. :P :P

On contrary, the super god sword can be disassembled.  (just take the screws out and voila)  I've done it to repro it.

Just thought you would like to kow. :thumb
