Pics on tfw2005.com show the full picture of BT Prime (or KISS Prime or whateverthehellitis) w/ more paint apps and changed color schemes. Specifically he has:

-silver on the shoulders

-a silver and yellow colored groin plate (w/ the damn screws still showing)

-it looks like silver on the shin vents and knees

-dark blue forearms and shoulders instead of red

-yellow eyes

-black feet

-black hands

-dark blue shins instead of black

 

(Compare w/ this)

 

Do any of these paint apps and diffent color schemes change anyone's mind about getting or not getting BT Prime?

 

I hate to admit it after bashing this mold for soooooo long (still think it could be better), but the new colors work so much better that I am considering pre-ordering (dammit, I hate being a hypocrite).

 

What does everyone think about the changes?

i like it. my main gripe was the plain red crotch plate and now its fixed. will i get it? maybe  but im going to wait for good pics of the black repaint befor i make my choice

Well the colours look more like Ginrai than Prime, but the mold still sucks.

meh... they're different enough that i don't see one as being better than the other.  i mean, on one hand, the BT obviously stays truer to the original G1 toy, but on the other hand, this design is such a departure from that toy, i think modifying the color scheme works well.

Agree with every thing except the Sucking part. The girls shirt says EDC cool. I still dont like the crotch plate.

Strangely enough, I like the Alternator-version of this one better. THe Alt-Prime version has less colors, but is more of an own character, while the Binaltech Convoy tries to look like Optimus Prime, but isn't. Plus, I like the black on the toy.

Anyways these colours are such an improvement. The crotch plate looks much better now and although the screws are probably still showing they hid them in a clever way. Really liking the new blue. Plus yellow eyes looks better IMO. Definitely getting this version.
