Quickstrike(The wolf) was pretty awesome though. Great gimmick with the switch blade, and an interesting transformation.

Non-show toys always(Well, almost always) pwn in my experence. That's one of the gripes I have about the newer toy lines.... always focused on the series characters. Energon had a few that weren't, and so did armada, but Armada's were just BW repaints.

 

Cybertron seems ot be making up for this, but only with repaints and ghey minicons.

So we got Good-G1-Bw. Crap-Beast machines. Good-Rid. Ok-Armada. Crap-Energon. Okay-Cybertron, Galaxy force so much better

Very simple. G1, Beast Wars, and Rid were good, Armada, mostly due to Starscream, Cybertron should be more like GF and Beast Machines and Energon suck my thermos.

 

I hat ebeast machines for several reasons. One, Awful looking forms. Simply awful. Also, sinc when is Primal supposed to be related to Prime. It had an ok story, but it wasn't developed enough. But mostly I hate it for mutilating characters, and bringing in ones that did nothing. Optimus turned ino Buddha, all spiritual and such, bit of a leap from the battle commander. I mean, he became pretty ineffective. Rhinox's motivation made no sense AT ALL. Silverbolt became a boring broody semi Dinobot replacement, but without the class. Rattrap, Rattrap went soft. He had a chance to blow a helpless Megs away and he didn't take it. Black Arachnia lost alot of her spirit. There was no need for Waspinator to appear at all. Nightscream was nothing but a whiny kid. Obsidian and Stryka had no development. Noble made no sense, I get the dragon part, but why is he a werewolf most of the time? And of course, Megatron made no  sense at all. One, he claimed to have won the BW, he didn't. Two, no explanation to the new dragon mode. Three, no explanation to his motivation. Last I saw, he got off on the whole fire breathing monster bit, he didn't show any inclnation that he didn't like being cyberorganic. Oh, and why was he so much weaker. How was Primal,in that form which didn't seem any stronger then the original, wrestle Megatron to the ground.....this is why you get fanfics ignoring BM,cause it makes no sense. For me, the Beast Era ends at BW season 3

meh, i'll just let somebody who has seen the series in the last few years pwn you. I can't recall enough of it to shoot down some of your points.

This part I CAN shoto down.

 

1. He was delusional, and was lying to try and prevent hsi ego from collapsing.

 

2. New dragon mode? it was the same as the old one. Did you just look at the ghey toy or sometihng? the only differences were caused by his various experiments trying to rid himself of the beast mode.

 

3. He viewed organics as the reason he lost the beast wars. He had a lot of time to think during his shuttle ride, and durign the time he was seperated from it... his ego prevented him from admiting it was his own folly that cost him the war. He should have fired the cannon himself.
