A place online that specializes in TFs no longer in production, like BW TM2 Megatron, Armada Jetfire, etc.  I'm looking for some figs for my collection...then again, I could probably post some info in The End Cap as well.

Well, the End Cap I've posted in, but I would like to NOT resort to Evilbay.

Why? I've found some decent prices on eBay. Just don't bid beyond what you think is a reasonable price for a given figure and you should be right.

Just set your maximum bid at the absolute most that you would pay for a figure and leave it at that. If you get outbid, then so be it... laugh at the sucker who's paying too much for that toy you just lost. There'll be other auctions for it in future.

I'm new to eBay myself, but so far I've acquired the following TFs in the last month:

+ Jalgar (Breast Force D-332) = USD49.99

+ Weirdwolf = GBP35.29

+ G1 Slag = USD37.00

+ G1 Swoop = USD138.50 - pretty expensive, but Swoop is hard to find, but again, this price was under my set maximum bid.

True...

I used to think like that. Thought like that when a guy paid $95 for a statue that was only worth $70 (my highest bid).

Next time I saw it it was $150 and just kept rising.

That time I bought it and these days you're hard pressed to find it at under $400.

In the end that "sucker" is the one whose laughing and I'm the miserable git who spent twice as much because I didn't go in with a flexible attitude.

Same with MP Prime.

I overpaid, but compared to prices now, it was a bargain.

Ouch.  Feel sorry for you man.  I waited until 20th Anni Prime was on clearance at Amazon.com.  I got him for about $50 brand new.

If there's one thing I learned from my mother about shopping, it's always look for a bargain to get more for your money :thumb
