Seriously... call Takara.

I know that if the part was already broken when you opened it, Takara will gladly send you a replacement part freeof charge.

Maybe you can explain your situation and see if they will still send you a replacement part if you are willing to pay for it.

good point, but better yet, just say it was broken when you opened it. i know its not theoretically nice to lie, but hey, we've all been lied to before...

You dropped it 2 feet?

A child could drop it 2 feet?

A child could choke on the small bit of plastic?

Their child-safety laws lied about it being safe?

Just lie to them!  :thumb

Actually as its a Takara product it doesn't have to follow the same safety laws as Hasbro, so they don't have to pass the same drop test, thats one of the reason's they  released RID Brave Max, but Hasbro didn't.  Its also why they don't have to use the flexy plastic on stuff like Vector Primes sword.

If the glue you tried doesn`t fix it then you need to go try to find a store that carries the little bottles of Testors Super Glue. This is what I`ve been using for my kitbashes. It is a very strong glue and dries in just a few minutes. Now for a part like this you might want to let it sit over night for an even stronger hold but this will definately work.

Thanks for the info, siburke939. :) Wow... that's not that far. I've dropped a Binaltech from much greater heights. :P (and no, it did not chip)

But there are Mini Cons with parts that come off that are very small and easily swallowable...

I dunno... these toys are meant for Ages 5 and Up, so what the hell are parents doing giving these toys to infants anyway? As for younger siblings, I really like what Takar did with the MyClones which are apparently painted with a special paint coating which is designed to taste bitter to infants and elicit them to spit the parts out.

Fascinating!

Well, the glue is holding, but the part is way loose. There was also some white residue from when I first tried to superglue the part, but that was fixed with a little Gunmetal enamel paint (I think the colour is actually better than the original black, and I'm seriously considering going over any other black areas, just for the hell of it!). I've contacted hasbro by email, & told a little white lie, and I have just recieved a reply. A phone number. I've yet to call, as I am a busy beefkr10z at the mo (for someone without a life, I have amazingly little spare time LOL). I'll keep you posted as to any developments, but I must say, I've has loads of TF's, and although limbs have popped out on the odd tricky transformation sequence, this is the first time I've actually had a part break on me - a good track record, but why couldn't it have happenend on a crap TF?

Cheers for your help, though, guys! :wave
