Okay, I know that sometimes things can't be explained easily...but where on earth did the Season 2 Autobots come from.  I can't recall an episode where they were explained.  They were just there.  Heavy Metal War ended season 1.  Onto Season 2...WHOAH, new Autobots.  Where'd they come from.  The only one I know has an introduction...well, sort of, is Omega Supreme who first appeared in Blaster's Blues.  The season 3 characters were all movie/post movie which took place in the far future from where season 2 left off, so they're explained easily.  But that still leaves a fair amount of the season 2 characters that don't make any appearance in episodes exactly but just happen to be there.

Okay, I know that sometimes things can't be explained easily...but where on earth did the Season 2 Autobots come from.

Who knows. Since most of them had Terran alt modes, they may have been either further crew deeper in the Ark they finally got around to finding and fixing, or perhaps they all rode Cosmos and Omega Supreme from Cybertron to Earth, then willingly got reformatted to fit Earth.

Methinks they were stuck on the Nemesis.

And Omega's presence isn't unexplained, just watch "The Secret of Omega Supreme"

I always figured that the Autobots had been in contact with Cybertron by then and had found some way to get some reinforcements.

Thats how I see it as well.

That's what I figured. 

 

Either that or Cosmos was carrying them all on a mission to find the ark and crashed on Earth ...
