If I understood the explanation right He created the Unicron body, however something else took it over and he lost control of it.

Same as i heard that Megatron and Optimus are brothers, that is why they hate each other so much for Megatron turned evil and created his own little group in the TF world.

I know Aaron Archer made Unicron, but I don't think he made Primus.
