Well, I was looking at another TF site, and RiD is not the first time the name Aughie Cahnay showed up.  It also showed up in the G1 Episode Trans-Europe Express apparently.

Look in the Bluestreak portion of the page

There's another actor that did the voice of Tracks in G1.

Aoi

I also like the way Wheeljack's "ears" light up when he talks. I wish mine did that.

:clap That's hilarious!

Of course, we all know that Bluestreak's happy bravado is nothing more than a facade which masks the deep pain buried within his psyche (as specified in his bio & tech specs). True fans know that it's little wonder that Bluestreak knows how to take command and handle a crisis situation when the time calls for it. Bluestreak may not like to fight, but it doesn't mean that he can't. Hasn't Hasbro changed his name to something ridiculous like "Autobot Silverstreak" or something just as lame?

Yeah, that'd be Mike McConnohie, who also voiced Cosmos. He also voiced Ironhide in the Robots In Disguise dub, although dubbing barely counts as real voice acting (as even McConnohie himself has admitted).

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

LOL PROOF THAT RID IZ PART OF GEEWON!!11!

but seriously, that's an obscure reference. did his race car look like RiD Skidz's vehicle mode?

at the end of transeurope express aughie's car got destroyed, that was 1985.

car robots (or rid) is set in the year 2000. the car wuld have been different anyway. also setting it in this year goes against g1 continuity as none of those bots showed up in the series
