doesnt that piss you off?

i just got a bunch of alts, bw10th and cybertron figures. one of the cybertron figs was brimstone who i surprisingly liked, but would like considerably more if his goddam arm would stay on. i cant move it even the slightest bit, otherwise itll pop right the hell off. and the ball joint on one of the leg pieces belonging to transmutate tore right off. anyone have that happen on tight figures made of softer plastic? marvel legends figs can be a Starscream like that sometimes. i bought those figs before work today, went to work, which was complete hell. the only saving grace was i had a car full of tfs waiting to be opened. so now i need a new brimstone and rhinox. :grr

Ugh!  I remember buying the special boxed edition that had the standard Fatimus Prime and Kicker a while back and Kicker's left leg was broken at the knee right out of the box.  After trying to salvage it, I gave up in disgust due to the tiny pieces missing and ended up gluing his knee in place.  He now sits on top of bike mode Arcee with a permanent 135 degree angled left knee.

the EXACT same thing happened to my anniversary kicker! man was i pissed.. he was a neat lil figure.

I posted this in "Hauls"

Did you keep the packaging and receipt. With all those toys, you'll still be occupied even if you cant find replacements right away.

I'm fortunate enough to not have had any toys break on me before I play with them...  though I still have my Cyb. Crosswise, Thunderblast and Brimstone unopened yet (bought them last wednesday, haven't opened them yet).  I'll crack them open when I get home.

But yeah, as Tman978 said, if they're broken out of the box, go exchange/return them.  It's not like these toys are in limited runs, so you'll probably be a lot happier in the long run if you return them and pick 'em up again later on.

Now THAT'S weird! :eek

and the ball joint on one of the leg pieces belonging to transmutate tore right off. anyone have that happen on tight figures made of softer plastic?

The leg of Transmutate that comes with Rhinox isn't a ball joint, it's a simple peg glued into the hip.

However, that the other side is articulated via ball joint leads people to believe that both sides are, something which has caused large numbers of people to break their Transmutate.

My reissue 00 convoy had a broken smoke stack in its factory sealed box. I ended up buying another bexause i didnt want the hassle of sending it back so kept it as a display bot

The only toy I had break on me right out of the box was Energon Tow-line. A ball joint on his weapon snapped off the "pressure" piece, making it way too loose, so the endcap doesn't stay in place, at all.

It pisses me the hell off, cuz it seems to lessen the toy. Not that I like Tow-line or anything...

I think that happened to about 90% of us, ball joints should be reserved for softer plastics, the clear stuff is way to brittle.
