Alt Civic not an error? Look at Alt Rumble

Recommended Posts

It's listed as a "Honda Civic", I wouldn't expect 2 separate officially licensed lines of car Transformers.

Me either.

Alt's assortment numbers are 813XX, the new Civic is 81351 - he's an Alt.

Civic looks cool to me....hopefully it comes out here and not just in europe....Its hard to tell if it is the us civic in the picture.

I doubt they would  go to the trouble of making an Alt that won't be released in North America.

Although I'm wondering if Europe will get it first..... hmmmm.

But the drawing doesn't look "Alternator" to me. It looks cellshaded cartoonish. Might be an actual pic of a new upcoming Transformers-series.

After that whole thing with Happywell... they're probably playing it safe.

I am liking both!

so far my only gripes with the SWTFs is that they have weak joints where they need strong ones (thus white stress marks already)

all of the SWTFs need to be seen in hand to appreciate.

I dont believe that the Falcon will be any different.

Hunter

Awesome! Now that I saw the piledriver (sure bet that the other arm is the same) I'm definitely loving it. It's a great idea to get round Hondas anti-gun thing and still give the fans what we want. The fact that it's the first original mold and that I love the new civic also helps.

I'm betting on an Autobot retool second release maybe with different weapons (please be black or yellow type R!) and a third straight repaint / BTA as a blue frenzy. Would make sense with hastaks latest release schedules.

i would actually like to think there will be a uk exclusive alt at some point (we havent had that many at all

curiously the alt's reported release from tfauctions said it would be released before mirage

My two-pronged argument as to why this Rumble "Alternator" is NOT real:

1)  The Civic hatchback in the picture is a concept car:

picture209053285216.jpg

Binaltech/Alternators modeled after existing production vehicles.

2)  So far, all of the Binaltech/Alternator toys are of cars that are available in the U.S. (someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong).  A Civic hatchback is NOT available in the U.S.  Since the world revolves around America, the release of a non-U.S. domestic market car would be blasphemy.

And even if it were, for all you people drooling over the the robot mode as illustrated, experience has taught us that the actual thing never truly measures up.  You know it's likely that those car halves for arms will be disproportionately huge compared to the rest of the body.

nope that pic of the civic u say is a prototype? is wrong the New Civc is already released here in the Netherlands and it's the new 2006 make

so i believe this news isn't false we will be gettin the Civic Alt.....

Finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This information came from HasbroUK at the UK toy fair, it's real.

Also, if you look closely, the right-arm/car-nose on the robot picture isn't the same as the car pictured - it's the production version - and the robot's left arm apprears to be the back of the coupe model, not the hatchback.
