i think they are milking the subaru mold cause subaru has a new wrx coming out in 06 with a new ugly front grill and rx-8 will stay the same so they will try to milk that later on. still, they should use a different name.

What's shocking to me about these new figs is, How good Hasbro is doing now keeping them under wraps. This ad counts as an official preview by them before Proto net pics. This hasn't happened since Silverstreak and Hound. Maybe they hired some new muscle to sit around the factories.

No. They already used the Corvette and Viper 3 times. It was just the WRX and Wrangler's time to shine. The next 2 remold or should I say recolors should be the RX-8 and then the Mustang. Or they could skip the Mustang for now and jump to Prowl or Skids remold(Hopefully as Ironhide)

I would think that the 3rd RX-8 and Mustang molds will get new heads.  Wheeljack, Shockwave, and grimlock all have pretty distinct heads, just like Tracks and Ravage did.  Swindle and SilverStreak both had somewhat generic heads.  I guess they could recolor Jazz's for the RX-8 though.

Man...It seems like for every awesome character they put out in the Alternators/BT line they put out 3 crappy ones.  I was all excited about the toyline again with Sunstreaker & Skids coming out along with a Mirage prototype and now they're doing this crap.  We were all screaming for Dodge Ram as Ironhide but instead we're getting an Optimus Prime with a mold that looks more like Trailbreaker and two more crappy repaints.  Haven't we had enough of the Subaru mold?  I mean I'm excited about the BT alert remold but only because I'm going to the swap heads with an Alt Prowl and do a little repainting, but 4 molds on the same character is a little much.  And does anyone care about Rollbar?  Not me, that's for sure.

I took a Blot today that looks better than this crap.  They could have done better.

 

As said earlier - if you dont like it don't buy it.  I won't buy it. Hopefully, this dpesn't spell the end for Alternators though.  We still need Mirage, Ironhide, Ratchet and Trailbreaker!  F*ck Rollbar!

You jeep-haters suck! Whats the matter with you guys? The fact that a meaningless name is attached to the mold means it can be done in orange whick looks kickass on a Jeep and it wont get in the way of the whiney geewun fanboys'
