YEAH... like we are all basing this on the glossy character drawings decorating the boarder of the web site ah huh.......well untill we see actual product drawings that thing could a sharckticon or unicron w/ blue colors.

If that was true, let me see, we would have alot less crappy transformers then we have now.....

 

if Hasbro was really paying attention to these boards:

 

stupied action gimics would have been a thing of the past, no mini con posts and no cyber keys

 

the paint colrs would have been alot better

 

distribution would have been tons better

 

alt tracks would have had the flames painted on and wings added for a flight mode

 

cybertron cartoon would still be on the WB after new years and never see the light of cartoon network

 

triple changers anyone?

 

we wouldn't have had star wars transformers

 

one word: transtech

 

two more words: war within

 

oh and for the joe fans out there......there would have been no more sigma 6 and the 3 3/4 line would be back in full force

 

for star wars fans ...... they would have gotten their turbo tank, the v-wing fighter, commander cody

 

Yeah....if hasbro and takara were really watching the boards toys would have really been more of what we want.

 

oh yeah of course toys are made for kids not collectors but to honest w/ you it is easy to sell to a kid. they will buy what ever they are told is cool through comics, cartoons, good advrtising. Our in put as collectors would make these toy lines better for others. it is that simple.

 

these boards, once finally used, could be a great marketing resource. the best part is it is free.

 

All the marketing department has to do is hire someone to just watch the boards and keep track of what the fans would like to see in the toys they collect and use that research as a guide line for new designs or consepts or re-issues. Children will fall in line cos , well they are just kids, they will want anything that looks cool....I mean look at pokemon, digi mon mega man....these figures don't even do anything, just stand there.

Europe would get the toys the same time as the rest of the world instead of being shelf warmed by figures that people imported. Still waiting on Cybertron
