Outback and Brawn were Jeeps too, so they'd make sense. Outback especially. Brawn I'd still rather see as a Hummer, since that's kind of a Jeep that seriously pumped up, visually.

They don't own the rights to the name.  Otherwise Universe Spychanger Ironhide and Cybertron Overhaul to name a couple would have been named Trailbreaker.

I thought, if we were going to have this level of mold overuse, a great idea would've been to have Inferno and Hoist share a truck mold, one as a towtruck and the other as a fire cheif's truck.  That practically leaves Trailbreaker out in the cold, even as a Jeep, because of the zero remolding for the 3rd editions.  Like it would be so hard to put Meister's head and alert's spoiler on Ricochet, or something, anything, to differentiate the 3rd Jeep from Swindle besides an adjacent color on the color wheel.  This is different, really, trust me!  I'm not blue green, I'm green blue now!

 

Now, whatever way they go with the Ram is going to be stupid.  I mean, shouldn't the leader be special?  I can't picture Megatron as a repaint of Optimus, Leader1 as a repaint of CyKill, DarthVader as a repaint of ObiWan, Joker as a repaint of Batman, etc.  On the other side, supposedly it's a poor ROI (and endless ruin that puts the Great Depression to shame) if they don't use it 8 times.  Then again, after Christmas, aren't we going to have another 10 month drought where 90% of domestic retailers don't order a single case of toys that'll make it all moot?

All Alternator have remolds the mold had Trailbreaker's chest and arm design, os the mold clearly was designed to be Trailbreaker at some point. And yes they don't have Trailbreaker trademarked, but neither does any other toy company meaning it's fair game for them.
