:clap

I had originally gone to my local TRU to see if the 2nd wave of mini-con VS packs were around (sorry, I dont keep up to the minute on release dates..I just go to the store and hope for the best). No luck, but I had the urge to get *something*. I had $6 off in coupons on me, so I decided to get Optimus. He was on sale too I guess, because with my coupons he came to $27. Woo! Havn't opened him yet....waiting for my 6 year old son to come home first....he likes Optimus a lot, so I thought I'd share it with him.

Then I went over to Target and found Evac, so I snatched him up..I had passed before, but after seeing someones review of him, and some closeups of his head sculpt and robot form, I thought he looked badass, so I grabbed him too. I love him, he's just what I look for in a Transformer....I dont much care for the animal and real far out sc-fi cars and ship forms, I prefer the Earth form vehicles, and Evac looks great in either form. Thumbs up on that one!

Then I went to Wal-Mart and found Cybertron Defense Red alert. ??? I hadn't even heard of that one...1st time I saw it, and hadnt seen it anywhere else, and there was only one...so I grabbed it...$26.46 I think it was. He's sweet...both modes are amazing, he's got some serious firepower...he's pretty big in robot form, especially with the shoulder cannon and the extended tool gun, and again, I really dig his head sculpt and proportions. Thumbs up on him too!

The Cybertron line is really starting to grow on me...though there are about a half a dozen figures I just flat out dont want, and another half dozen I'd take if they were given to me, but I wouldnt buy them myself, unless they went on clearance  :tftounge

All in all, a good haul for me....I asked for a lot of the small figures (Brushguard, Overhaul, Armourhide, etc) for Xmas, so hopefully I'll add those to the growing army in the weeks to come.

Awesome haul!

Evac's a great figure. I just picked him up too. Great finds!

Oh, I also forgot to mention, apparently the cyber key code for Defense Red alert hasnt been added to the website for Unlock Codes...when I input it (up0t) it says it doesnt exist.

I wonder when the other planets will have descriptions...tired of clicking and seeing "Coming Soon" for months now...same with some of the tabs you click for other site content.

I've got Galaxy Convoy, Live Convoy, and I ordered CD Red alert from JRS Toyworld this week, so I'm waiting for him to ship, which will hopefully be either on Mon/Tues.

I hate you, and all of the other lucky bastiches who have gotten their claws on Cybertron Defense Red alert. That is the ONE figure I want right now.......to put it in perspective, if I walked into a store and found an Alt Skids or Sunstreaker (I know, they aren't sighted yet, this is hypothetical), and a CD Red alert, and I had money for ONE of them, I'd have a hard time deciding. And I LOVE Alternators.....that's how much I want CDRA.

Well, I don't really "hate" you........I'm just very much jealous at the moment.

I also broke down and picked up little Scattorshot (he's a HUGE shelf warmer up here in central NH) and I took him home not expecting much, but I actually really like his robot mode, and now I hear theres supposed to be a CD version of him too....how's that gonna look I wonder. Like I said, this line is really starting to grow on me.  :tfgrin

Evac has got to be my favorite Autobot in the Cybertron/GF line. Excellent articulation, looks awesome, colours work well and a realistic looking vehicle mode. It's everything I'm looking for in a mainline Mega/Voyager sized figure.

Now I love my Galaxy Convoy as well but Evac is just a better all-around figure IMO. First Gunner is pretty sweet as well.

Glad you picked up Scattershot. He's really well done for a basic. Actually, most basics in this line are really well done.

How's scattershot gonna become a CD fig?

This is how!

Mega-thanks to Remy. =)

NICE!

Though I have to admit...the head sculpt isn't really standing out for me....though I felt the same about Evac until I had him in hand at home.

Looks like he has goggles on his forehead, but them arms....damn! I like how a lot of the figures are looking like Mechs. Do we know when his release date is? Do we know who else is gonna get a CD upgrade?

I dunno how the hell you guys scrounge up the info you find, but thank you!
