Remember the Proto Alt Screen they showed that was dark blue? Wonder what happened. I wonder why Prowl is baby blue too?

I never saw that one.  I wouldn't mind the Blue Prowl, but all those stories I heard about the rearview mirrors cracking scare me.

Can't go wrong with BT.  Get Deadend.  Sleek.  Black.  And heavy as hell.

I would avoid BT Prowl, but BT Smokescreen GT is PWNage. The plastic is totally different -- darker blue and metallic. It's night and day. BT Hound is indistinguishable from Alt Hound; same with Streak IMO. BT Wheeljack is waaaay cooler than Alt Wheeljack too. But like others have said, the gloss colors really do look a lot better on the BTs.

I like Hound, as well.  It's just such an overall better toy when the darn thing is mostly die-cast zinc.

Funny, I have sold so very many of the BT Prowl and never had an issue with one come back to me. I opened a few of them myself and not had a problem with the mirrors. Perhaps there are too many carless pepole out there.

The Lazerwave is very nice but I like the Ravage figure myself. it looks great with a black tracks head on it, making it the super rare Black Tracks version. I think that is the only one I have on my desk at any time. I have all of them to date so there is no shortage of which ones I could use.

I do like the Sunstreaker and am not as nit picky as some of the others about the colours. The black and yellow is just a great looking colour scheme IMO. Besides it is a TOY after all. Something I think many people forget in the hobby.

Hound was my first BT. High Quality but I was pissed to find out that BTs weren't all Diecast like people were leading to believe. But I was amazed to see the plastic and paint matching so greatly. I was pissed again though when I saw Alt Hound in stores with the same plastic as the BT looking Identical. I paid so much for BT Hound it would make you cry.

I picked up a couple BTs and have to say I like them.  I got Smokes GT first, and was pleasantly surprised.  Since then I've picked up Sideswipe and yellow Tracks and while Swipes is OK, Tracks rocks.  I have Streaker and Dead End on the way right now :thumb

You have to get Smokescreen GT. You will put Alt Smokescreen back in it's box and never ever look at it again! Ever damn it!

Absolutely agreed. Such a tremendous difference b/w the Alt and BT w/ that figure, you really will wish you had not wasted your money on the Alt (I bought 5 Alts and then switched to BTs and haven't looked back since, well except to go back and replace all my Alts w/ BTs).

Personally I recommend the red Meister who is a really cool bot.

Or the yellow Tracks whom I am hoping to receive soon.  :thumb
