MP-03 Scourge, version 2.0

Recommended Posts

Okay guys... here is the back story on this one:

As some of you may have heard, last week my area was one of the ones who got hit by Hurricane Wilma.  :tdown  Hurricanes themselves aren't usually too bad to go through, but it is the lack of power to the homes for days or weeks that really sucks. Especially after the PSP / Gameboy / cellphone batteries die.   :redface

Well, after about the third day of sitting around the house, I figured I would finish a MP-03 Scourge that fellow TFan Weirdo started for me. What do you think?

(I know that this idea has been talked around to death... but to celebrate my getting power back I wanted to share with you guys...)

Yeah... some spare parts that I had. That is actually one half of a Gundam beam rifle. (The Gundam Wing Zero rifle, to be exact)

Looks like a very clean repaint Mazin. I`d love to get my hands on another 20th Anni Prime to rebuild into a real MP Scourge. I would actually take the whole thing appart and build him to look like the G2 Laser Prime that they repainted into Scourge but I would give him the black and metallic teal paint job.

It Looks Great! :thumb Hope Takara Puts One Into Production, I Want One! :D

:tfdance

It looks excellent. I got 2 suggestions though. Paint the upper legs a dark grey so it matches with the overall dark scheme more. Also get some repro long smokestacks.

Thanks... that is a good idea about the legs, I think that I might do that.  :thumb

I definitely want the smokestacks too - I still can't get Hasbro for doing that.  :redface

I understand their desire to stay away from puncturing the eyes of small children(or at least away from the LAW SUITS), but surely they could have made them rubber? I'd be fine with smokestacks that weren't chrome if I could get them the original size.

These little ones just make Prime seem impotent, and that's not a light I care to view my most favorite hero in.

very nice. i like the clear red windows.

very nice... how long did this take you?
