come to think of it the latest lambo is the Mercialago (dont know if I spelled that one right) but who owns the rights to making Lambo toys?

That would explain why they put a g1 pic of side swipe, he was a Lamborgini Countach

Yep. True! Actually, there were several Transformers that where Lamborghinis. I have a Decepticon from the 80's and he is a Lamborghini. His name is Breakdown. I think there was also a Yellow one, too.

It's a photo of G1 Sideswipe in Car and Robot modes. They don't have the box art for the US reissue of G1 Sideswipe yet.

If you want my opinion I think it is the Jaguar XK-8 or another Jag because that makes alot more since. Seeing Hasbro/Takara has mad it known the have the Ford liscensing and Jaguar is owned by Ford. I highly doubt they got licensing from Ferrari.

Mattel has exclusive licensing rights for Ferrari-based toys - it definitely can't be a Ferrari.

I concur with SliMaximus, it's probably a Jaguar XK8:

Any word on what character the mustang will be? Perhaps Jazz? Think about it, white is a popular mustang color and Jazz was white.

I think the upcoming Mazda RX8 is suppossed to be Jazz, as they used his Japanese name - Meister.
