i went to check the hasbro toy store site and found that the RID build team universe constructicons repaints were removed!

I think that was due to them becoming target exclusives or such

But better for business because the casual buyers who would pick these up in Target far outnumber those fans who now aren't able to purchase them from the Hasbro store.  And unlike membership-exclusive store items like the CostCo set, these will be widely available so those who can't get to a Target have a much better chance of finding someone (like me) who won't mind picking them up a set and shipping it to them.

Okay I have to say this.

 

Personally I think Target exclusives make about as much sense as Hasbro deciding to release Canadian Superstore Exclusives. One way or the other a large percentage of the fandom is constantly getting screwed over. Walmart or TRU exclusives make much more sense because they're accessable from both sides of the boarder.

Target probably did.  After the Reissues, TRU probably isn't real interested in exclusives, and I heard Walmart didn't want any more either (hence no U. Seacons).  Target is the last big option.
