My favorite part of beast machine was the hopeless battle the maximals fought against millions of vehicons. There wasn't alot of hope since they all thought primal went nuts except cheetor but even he had his doubts about primal. A very dark series compared to BW. Character wise these were some of my favorites except Nightscream and I would love to see a follow up to them like transtech with a freakin botanica figure. Maybe if the 10th BW figures do well they will do a build-your-own-botanica figure like the transmutate

The character designs are definitely an acquired taste.... particularly the Maximals. Personally, I wish the CGI characters had looked like the original round of BM toys b/c I think the toy designers really nailed what both Vehicons and Maximals should look like. The Vehicons all had very cold, "robotic" faces and didn't seem very "human" at all, and the Maximals were very elegantly designed cyborg-like creatures. The main problem I have with the show characters is that they seem about 70% organic / 30% technological, not 50/50.

I did not ever have a problem with beast machines. l thought it was awesome because we first got to see cybertron in CG. Dont know why you wouldnt like it. Maybe it was the maximal who transformed into a friggin PLANT!

So what?  I saw a good episode of the new TMNT cartoon that was written by Bob Skir.

I am about 2/3 of the way through LMH's generous CDR donation of BM.

And I dont understand what everyone is Starscreaming about...

Rattrap is Great! Hes one of my Favorite characters.

Nightscream is the obnoxious annoying teenager - done right

 

Cheetor is just dull (i dont usually go for the main hero characters)

Black Arachnia is GREAT!

 

My main complaint would be that the scope is too limited - and i realize that it was likely a budget issue.  But in BW there was a limited Cast - and now we have an even More limited cast...

 

Megatron is great - though i dont get the floaty-head of doom..... :tfhuh

 

The only character i could live with out so far is - Noble.  i like that they made the conection from Mech-TFs to Bio-Mech Tfs to ALL Organic Lycanthropy - but the exexution was meh....

I think your opinion of Noble will change after you see the whole series.

I totally agree with the statements concerning rattrap and rhinox in BM

 

Rhinox isnt bothering me as much...but its seems that all they ever needed rattrap for was to cram him down some pipe and have him access a computer with his tail.....not like in BW where he would blow things up with his wrist grenades! lol (btw his robotmode sucks.....i wanted them to keep his traditional face with the buckteeth and everything...instead we got enzo from reboot lol :):):))

 

I also really liked the character of Jetstorm, he was well written....but my liking of him changed when i learned he was silverbolt.

 

Megatron is probably the biggest dispointment............all he did was stay connected to his stupid control room and never fight!!!!

 

I got all giddy when i heard about the part of him getting a new body....i was assuming he'd get some spectacular metallic body (dreaming about BM megs with G1 body :)) but all we got was him with optimal optimus's shell...lol he had a monkey alt mode lol

 

A great ending would be for primal to get G1 primes body and fight BM megs with a G1 body (spectacular clash of the titans)
