Civic is not a sports car, the SI might be if you end up putting the 50g's to make it a Spoon civic, but other than that it isn't designed to be one. I think the idea of the Alternators is to get cars that are distinct, all cars you can tell from a good deal away, the wrangler doesn't look like anything else on the road, much like the other cars. But the Civic looks like everything else on the road, mainly because everthing else on the road is a civic. I have no problem with import sports car, since they are sports cars, The STi is a nice car, but as said I don't care for its sedan style.

You can make anything faster than anything else with enough money, but having a good starting platform helps. You'l notice there are none (that I can think of) sports cars that are FWD, Either RWD or AWD are the only platforms they use, this is for a reason. FWD as a platform is not the best for anything aside from simplicity, and cost. Other than that I can think of nothing that is better than RWD.

Anything can happen when it comes to mods, so it is only truely fair to compare a stock car to a stock car.

So true, so true....Here's another good point on all this: Two famous sports car-only manufacturers: Porsche, and Ferarri. All RWD, and all 2dr. bodystyles, except for the Cayenne, which is something else altogether. That oughtta tell ya something.

They sold coupes form day1 of the Impreza's release, sometime in the early 90's. And as to selling more sedans than coupes, well yes and no. In terms of the basic impreza, they certainly did sell more sedans. BUT, as to the 2.5 RS, I know for a fact they offered it both ways, but I've never seen a 2.5 sedan exept in a sales brochure. And Id say that Ive seen hundreds of 2.5 coupes and maybe 10 basic 2.2 coupes. When I lived in Oregon, that 2.5 coupe was a VERY common sight.

very true but i mean the overall sales of the sedan and the coupe.

Depends on where ur from i guess.

here in the tri-state there are more sedans than coupes.

But i completely agree wit u that they should of still let us choose what body style we wanted. But u know what, thats a never ending battle with the u.s. customers

wanting the japanese versions of the cars.....its never going to happen

i.e. skyline

No no no no no no

No civic that's a momma's car and for your grandma's

The only two cars that would be alternators are a Mitsubishi lancer EVO8

and the Nissan Skyline GT34R

And for Wheeljack the new Ford Mustang Concept

And as for JAZZ th new BMW M5 CONCEPT

How about Jazz as the new Porsche Carrera GT or a Lamborghini Galardo/Murcielago? Now, that would be HOT!

I'd probably buy it, though I hate civics.

Porshe is out, they already tried that..Lambo would really be more of a sunstreaker or red alert.

I don't think I have ever seen a WRX 2 door...which in my book is the only one that matters.

Porsche will NEVER be out! Never... lol My favorite kind of car anyway! :tflaugh
