Didn't really start collecting on my own untill about 99 .. beastwars, I blame that..

As a kid who wanted to play with TFs, around 1987. Surprisingly I still was able to get some Series 1 and 2 toys like Megs, Jazz, Tracks and Ramjet even though it's been a couple of years since their release. I recently found out that I also had Metalhawk, but the robot is missing already.

 

As a collector, started at 2003 with Unicron. Then I was amused at some other Armada TFs and the completist bug hit me. I was actually collecting some Marvel action figures back then, but I decided to go all the way with TFs and sold off the non-TF toys in my collection.
