I hope the BW anniversary toys are regular releases. It's tricky to get these outside the U.S. if they're store exclusives. The only reasons why I was able to get my hands on a Universe Nemesis Prime and Energon's Checkpoint and Prowl was I happen to have a friend who was in U.S. during their release.

Seeing as the 10th Ann. Beast Wars figures are new molds and retools of some old ones, I don't think they will be store exclusives. I could be wrong though.

Just because Mouth04 of Target found these in the Target computer doesn't mean they're Target exclusives.  These will be available everywhere no doubt.  I didn't read any reports from BotCon that said these were exclusive to Target.

Back when they showed up in Target's computers they were listed as "EXCLUSIVE BW 10TH" if I remember correctly.

And I.S.T., I wasn't just referring to BW concepts that have been used in later continuities. I mean the influence of the show/toys themselves on kids and the larger fandom. In other words, how many TF fans are fans because BW brought them in? When I compared G1 to BW, I meant that we might want to look at where G1 was in 1994 (ten years after it came out) versus where BW will be in 2006. I just think it's an interesting comparison.

 

Then again, it might not be entirely fair, since most kids go through a phase in their late adolescence / early adulthood where they're like "meh, toys are ghey", which happened to coincide with G2, for G1 fans. And that might be happening right now with BW, but there are enough older fans around to keep awareness of the series up.

I've e-mailed Joel at BBTS about the possibility of them stocking the BW 10th toys. if he can, then there's a chance that they might not be exclusives.
