We've been waiting only 21 years to get some unproduced G1 Cartoon Characters.  For example, I would love to see a Cartoon accurate G1 Quintesson or G1 Arcee. 

 

I know you guyz are quick to say we got them in Energon, but it's really not the same.  They only resemble in name, not cartoon appearance, and that can be a real blow to a G1 Fan. We want an earnest attempt at recreating our favorite cartoon we grew up with back in the day, not a morph into something else .

 

It's all fine and dandy when you get what you want, and label the crying kid in the corner a "whiner."  It's terrible how fellow Transformers do not sympathize for one another.  Where's the camaraderie?  Where's the love?

Not so if other fans want it so bad, they go out of there way to make it a reality:

those would be too expensive to mass produce, and probably wouldn't sell well enough to cover costs.

I am a GEEWUN fan. I grew up with Megatron as a gun, Arcee as a pink car, the 5-faced Quintessons, and so on. But really, Hasbro has given us more than we could have ever expected, and the beast era fans have been shafted since the end of BM until now. It's their turn to get their fanwank.

That is your opinion.  Like I said before, if fans are willing to go out of there way to build it, chances are there are thousands of other fans out there that want the same thing, even though you may not want it.

Problem is that us 'ol' timers' are not Hasbro's primary market.

I am a GEEWUN fan. I grew up with Megatron as a gun, Arcee as a pink car, the 5-faced Quintessons, and so on. But really, Hasbro has given us more than we could have ever expected, and the beast era fans have been shafted since the end of BM until now. It's their turn to get their fanwank.

I agree, they should get their fanwank, but to say that G1 Fans shouldn't get theirs too b/c: "those would be too expensive to mass produce, and probably wouldn't sell well enough to cover costs." is absurd & ludicrous.

 

If They can make a mold of a tranforming Cybertron from scratch, then it's not hard to imagine a much smaller G1 Arcee & a G1 quint, as conceptualized in the pics.  I am sure they would sell just fine, if mass produced even better, or at minimum, if made with that kind of care to detail.

You know there is a new line comming out 3 inch diecast figures from all generations, I wouldn't be surprised if a G1-esque Quint comes out in it. :thumb
