Bios? Well, if they have bios or tech specs, I highly doubt they'll start tying them into the "BT" storyline -- or any storyline. They'll probably just say their car mode is updated for the modern era or some carp. But if the only hideous gray on Sunstreaker is going be on the arms...that's an improvement.

Regardless, the packaging is interesting. It feels fresh and it keeps in line with the main toyline, the art looks even better than before IMO (except that aforementioned constipated look on Prowl's face), and it looks cleaner overall. I hope there's no annoying cross-sells, like people have said there probably aren't. Still, it looks nice, and I hope Wallymart starts stocking them again with the new boxes.

I was thinking the best bet would be to slice the bottom of the bubble on all three sides but the BT window, and lift it up to get the Alt out.

It still has the same kind of plastic shields as the old box did on the inside, you'll still have to cut open the bottom of the box to get at where these are attached.

For the non-packaging whores (like me, always toss it after getting the toy surprise out :tfgrin), it looks like you could just rip the bubble from the "platform", which IMO makes it easier to get to than the original boxes
