when did they change her name :tfhuh

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

We've know she was going to be called Thunderblast for several months. Rarely does Hasbro use the same name as Takara for characters other than Starscream.

where the hell was i at then?...oh well :tflaugh

She's still Chromia in my book...Thunderblast is so uncreative

I'll have to hunt for 'Streaker now

I for one really like the Cyb- Packaging - so i dont have a problem with the Alts. in this packaging.

As far as stacking - it looks like the one side of the box is  squared - so it should still stack -but we shall see...

I agree - i dont understand WHY Hasbro wants Alts to appeal to Kids - EXCEPT- many people in the last year have claimed that they found Alts in the model car section - maybe this will prevent that - i mean these are DEFINITELY Transformers....

I feel so sorry for all you MISB people.  I dont want to judge anyone for their collecting habits - but Sigh- MISB is such a waste of beautiful toys.

Yay for Prowl and Streaker! (i like the black stripes)

Hunter

Anyone else like the fact that the Ramble drones are referred to as Terrorcons in Red alert's bio? IMO its kind of cool that they are an evolved form of them and if Planet X pans out to be Unicron it'll be perfect

I like the style, but don't like the swoop on the bubble.  I'm kinda happy actually that the bubble is sealed all-around though.  If it's impossible to preserve the packaging when opening these, then I won't worry about it anymore and that's just less space being taken up in my closet and garage!

For those rushing out to hunt for these, look at P.Prime's blog page - he's overseas, meaning these probably haven't shipped trans-Pacifically yet.

Convenient that he doesn't have any shots of Sunstreaker in robot mode...I REALLY wanna see if they've done anything to fix the hideous, slapped-on gray colors for him, which'll determine whether or not I get this or the BT.

If your Impatient.

New box art

Binaltechy

Even a Character Quote! Bio inside???

On Streakers box art he has yellow thighs and more yellow on his chest! Here's hoping.

Bios? Well, if they have bios or tech specs, I highly doubt they'll start tying them into the "BT" storyline -- or any storyline. They'll probably just say their car mode is updated for the modern era or some carp. But if the only hideous gray on Sunstreaker is going be on the arms...that's an improvement.

And the richer yellow is so much nicer.,

when did they change her name :tfhuh

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

What wave is she again??

Maybe, and I hate to say this, we'll have to slice through the BT end of the box and slide the car out. I wonder if we'll have to cut the box part too.
