I`m not planning on trying to build a better version of someone else`s Master Piece Starscream I plan to build my own MP Starscream based on an F 15. Using a RM Starscream as a design inspiration. This is why I`m looking for the instructions for RM Starscream. Or if I could find one to hold and look at while I work on him. Similar to how I built my Rodimus Prime looking at the original 1986 Rodimus Prime I actually looked at the original to make mine look so much like the original yet so much better.

Sorry, Robot Masters Starscream (heard the legs and arms were a dissappointment). THere is no master piece star scream...unfortunately...

Stripping down an MP Prime would definately not work. His proportions and bulk just aren't compatable with an F-15 shell. I say this as I am looking at him and my 1:48 F-15 models side by side. However, it might be feasible to use MP Prime's ARMS for such a project. Eyeballing it, they don't look /quite/ right but I'm thinking they could be modded. That would probably be a lot less trouble than scratchbuilding hands that recess into the arms (which is what I had had in mind.)

 

Unfortunately there never were a lot of MP Primes here so I never got one for cheap on clearance. Maybe someone could help out with that?

On hold unfortunately since I could never do a sketch of him in the base mode that I was happy with and as we all know the best transformers are designed alt mode first and then you build the bot from within. I have to finish my Rodimus Prime, then I have a commition job that I`m doing for Epitaph, then I plan to build Starscream. After Starscream I`ll be finishing up my 1:28 scale Optimus Prime trailer, and either G1 or an Alt Galvatron using E. Galvatron as a base. So as you can all see I plan to be rather busy for the next several months to a year. My Rodimus is almost finished I just need to build a hatch for his cap, and then retouch the paint where it`s chipped off from all of the cutting and working with and he`s done. I still need to finish designing the project for Epitaph which is why I`ve asked for the instructions from RM Starscream for the MP Starscream I plan to build so that he`ll be a little bit easier.
