Heh. I love my Superion Maximus, too. IMO, he's by far the best of the three Energon combiners.

I beg to differ.  He lacks anything resembling hands, and neither of his limb sets can be mistransformed to have decent elbow articulation.  Of the three energon combiners Constructicon Maximus is by far the best, as you can put the cranes as legs thin enough to stand next to another and you can break the plows in the middle to give him in-bending elbow articuation.  Bruticus Maximus is in the middle, since you can put the tanks as arms with bendy-twisty elbows after you disconnect and fold back the treads, but the choppers make poor limbs, with the same fold-back-legs that wreck the jets in Superion M.  Compared to those two Superion M pales.

I don't mix and match the limbs (I like to keep to the instructions in most cases), but you may be right. I just know I had a harder time getting Constructicon Maximus and Bruticus Maximus in a good pose than I did Superion Maximus. I do like how Superion Maximus looks better than the other two, though. He looks less bulky than the other two, and I LOVE the head sculpt. The fact that he didn't have real hands bothered me at first, but I got used to it. Not being able to have the legs stand next to each other still bothers me, though.

i agree of last choice. hope dun have reissue fort max...

but, SL prime is so ugly, none notice that?

Question about the BW/BM Primals....

and i am not trying to be nasty because i like the shows but...

What good is a *Transformer* that turns from a bipedal humanoid to a bipedal hunched-humanoid???

I think that one of the main glitches in the design of Primal (as a toy concept)  has always been that he doesnt really transform at all.... People complain that megalo convoy is just bent over but - Thats ALL that primal does to transform... swap a head or something - deploy a missle or two

but his actual TF scheme on any other bot would be relegated to a simple force chip gimmick...

i know what you mean. even though the monkey primals are dear to me i think we got cheated. overseas their primals were lions and big friggen mammoths.

Most of the Armada toys were big disappointments for me... not because they fell below my expectations, but instead matched them - and they were dismally low.  I didn't want to believe they could design such shoddy TFs after something so great like CR/RiD.

A Unicron. Wasted potential. Still better than Beachballcron though.

Wow, I didn't think Unicron would've shown up on this list.  He's on my list of "most pleased with compared to the hype."
