No Alts (or the corresponding shelf tags) at any of the 3 Walmarts in town.  Target, however, has gotten some interesting cases.  I got a swerve at one Target, and the other store has 2 shockblasts and 2 wheeljacks just sitting there.  I need to check the third Target in town to see what they have now that I think about it.

I really hope they re-release Tracks but somehow I doubt it. I remember at Botcon a few years ago people were complaining about the energon Ultra Magnus distribution problems and a Hasbro rep said there were no plans to re-release him again. Of coarse they also said something of a seacon re-release and even had pics but I've never seen it or heard anything about it again. I think it was gonna be a wal-mart exclusive. I really hope they do re-release him because I've never even seen one in person ever. I did find Swerve though and I was gonna save the sticker for when or if I ever got tracks but if its in the re-release maybe i'll stick it on. But why Shockblast I can still find him at stores. Of coarse so is Swindle and windcharger maybe thats why i never found wheeljack or decepticharge(dumbest name for a transformer ever?)

As for the whole idea of cases of just one figure. I'm not really for it. They should increase the case pack to 6 figures and make em all different and ship it for lets say around a half a year and do some research on who sells the best and put him or them in the next case with some new figures and ship that case for half a year. It seems like thats about how often I find new alts. any how

If Hasbro let's me buy the figs I want from their site, I think I'll just give up on traveling to the various stores in town(what with gas the way it is), and just pay a few extra bucks for shipping and handling.

 

I'm really just tired of bad distribution, stores refusing to carry things, and the fact that my stores are rated lower, and therefore get less of everything and nothing of the good stuff.

well i finally found 1 wheeljack at a target in washington - burlington.

 

so now i need decepticharge and swerve... sigh.

 

all the walmarts - bellingham, burlington, marysville - washington, do NOT have any ALTS whatsoever... not even a price tag :(

:clap I found Swerve at the Local Target here in Colonie , NY . He was mixed in  w/swindle and windcharger I was lucky enough to find him as the wal-marts here have also stopped carrying the alternators altogether.  Now I join the hunt for Decipti---DRAGSTRIP---charge...Any sightings would be helpful here..Peace..  :thumb

I'm inclined to believe this statement until I hear otherwise, because most of it makes perfect business sense due to the small manufacture runs of some of the alts.

I think it would be okay.  They have been selling a lot of the new, direct to consumer, G.I. Joes and they are generally in stock.  Last week they were out of stock on the new Snow Serpent and Range Viper, but they are for sale once again.  Right now people can pre-order wave 2 of the Joe figures, so I don't see why they couldn't do the same for Alternators, since both lines are geared towards collectors.

They already said at SDCC that they were going to sell Alts on their website. They specifically named Tracks, Jazz & Shockwave. No reason the whole line won't be there too.
