yeah my wally has also stop carrying them and only target has anything different than ravage and wc, but i never seem to see swerve or dc but maybe with this situation things will get better for toys period

No Alts at my local WM either... and Target seems to have stalled once I scored SW and WJ - now they've reverted to Swindle and Windcharger.

Okay, so can someone explain to me why all the Wal-Mart stories in Southwest Missouri STOPPED carrying Alternators all together?  It's not a situation where the shelves are flooded - the shelves are bare - they just refuse to restock, and haven't since MAY.  Obviously Wal-Mart isn't too interested in selling toys, either.

well, if Wal-marts were told not to restock the alts, some stores probably just sold out faster than others.

if this news is true, I really hope they (re)release Swerve and DC.  I still haven't seen them.

Yes and I'd be looking forward to a re-release of Miester and Tracks. There're the only ones I missed out on and I do NOT want to buy them for twice the price on eBay.

Remember also that just because you may see some restocks happen now, doesn't mean that the article is untrue either.  The restocks you are seeing could be simply Target or Walmart letting all remaining goods ship out from their Distribution centers and not that they have placed new orders with Hasbro.

I am certainly not trying to uphold the rumor as truth, but I do want to make sure we are looking at all possibilities.  Just because a local store doesn't have any doesn't mean that Walmart or Target Distribution Centers aren't stocked with product.  Many times that product will be allocated to the stores that request it or to the stores that show the most sell through in their computers.

I don't think there's ever been a verified sighting of Decepticharge on American soil, so you haven't missed him... but there's still a good chance you'll never see one, as they were supposed to be released months ago.

i thought people had brought him here, that he came out before swerve, and is after him

I don't know if this assortment ever made it into stores, but I ordered and received a case from EntertainmentEarth containing DC, as well as WJ, SB, and BR.  Last time I checked, California (EE) and New Jersey (me) were on American soil. ;)

No Alternators at my Wal-Mart either. However, if Hasbro does start allowing stores to order exactly what they want like Takara allows...I do believe we'll start seeing a LOT more sales, and a lot more happy customers, costs will go down, sales will go up, and everyone will benefit.

One thing by the by...

Considering there's some of the Alts not coming to our shores...certainly makes me happy I gave up on them a while back. I'd have driven myself and my wallet nuts trying to procure them.

*whew*

:D

Well, I got my Decepticharge from Big Bad Toystore, but no one's ever found/purchased one in retail, to the best of my knowledge.  He's available - sort of - but has never been available in stores outside of Hong Kong.  That's the way I understand it, at least.
