id say he got stuck in suspended animation as it were do to the ice age hitttin him eventually. he eventually thaws out and comes out of stasis lock after awhile and makes a trip hom on the cons space bridge.

far fetched or not it would make for a good story about him bumbling and stumbling through the other show contiinuities and having a brief stint with the preds from RID

I thought he wanted to warp back to cybertron and conquere it.  they didn't mention the ark in S2 til the agenda.

Exactly. All of the Cybertron born tf's that were exposed got changed, whilst all of the Earth born ones weren't. Take for instance Tarantulus and Inferno. Both were deactivated in the Axalon's hold, but only Tarantulus got the upgrade.

I bet Transmetals Scavenger was originally supposed to be Transmetals Inferno. It makes sense in a toy stand-point. And look at that crazy ass grin Scavenger has! I bet Hasbro wanted that to happen, but when it didn't, they changed the name of the toy to Scavenger.

 

Too bad Terrorsaur fell into the lava with Scorponok. It would have been cool to see him as a Transmetal on the show.

Yeah he was. In the Takara Beast Wars Metals line I think he actually was released as Inferno. But a lot fo other season 1 characters got a TM toy that didn't get a TM bod in the show. Rhinox and Airrazor are two that come to mind.

other tms released but never on the show were terrorsaur and waspinator.

 

and megs plan was what you stated above. but he did mention destroying the autobots as well. hence my theory of him attacking the ark as plan B. the reason why his plans didnt involve the autobots in the first season was because they didnt know that they were even on earth because there were two moons. once one of the moons turned out to be the hollow planet destroying thingy revealed it to be earth all along. and when blackarachnea and silverbolt are diggin their way to the ark he says "it looks like someone dug this hole and then blasted it shut." which was megs. he couldv destroyed prime all along but it was a gamble due to the uncertainty of the outcome. thats why he waited till the chips were down to play that hand.
