I think they should cut Honda loose...

Recommended Posts

Unless they did an Acura NSX but there has been no current production model for that car for a long while now.

the nsx-r is still in production till the end of the year

im a hige honda fan and override has the biggist gun yet its honda USA that seems to has issues and prowl still has his gun so dont h8 on the toys.

as for lambo well thier owned by VAG so it will never happen. BMW i would not put money on it. Austin Martin and jaguar both are owned by ford so it could happen but thier licance fee's would be insane

who the hell wants a VW bettle BT in yellow any way its a girls car and the other VW's stuck bar the Golf R32 IMO a honda civic type-R would be a far better car 1 its faster 2 its cool 3 its not a girls car

Lamborgini, ferrari, Lotus?

Lamborghini are run by Audi.

Audi owned by VW.

Ferrari is a massive long shot, odds are they'd just tell to Hasbro to take a running jump. Aside from that, I'm pretty sure Mattel have a preferential deal there.

It's about Marketing, brands like Lamborghini and Ferrari don't need the publicity. They're niche makers, and they're doing fine.

As for European car manufacturers, most of them aren't that recognised outside of Europe....  and as you probably know, TF's get a raw deal in most of Europe these days.

Lotus WOULD be interesting choice tho, not impossible.  However they're owned by Proton so any licensing arangement would probably demand a TF as a Proton......  (that's not a good thing in case you hadn't realized)

The Viper opened the door and is still one of the best molds

I'll take, well any of the other binalt molds over a Sideswipe anyday. Terrible posibility and a rather low amount of detail.

VW is acting like a bunch of prissies. they can't expect everyone to get over the holocaust so soon, not while there's still surviviors alive. VW will have to put up with it's reputation as a holocaust supporter for at least another 100 years yet so they should just shut up and take the insults like men.

They weren't "supporters" of the holocaust. They profited from the regulation that Nazi Germany provided, like a LOT of other companies. The original beetle was commissioned by Hitler himself to be the official car fo the third reich, under his desire that everyone should be able to afford an automobile. Thus ever since then they haven't just been one of the companies that profited (BMW, Mercedes Benz, in fact nearly every multinational european company you can think of profited from this era), they were the makers of the "Hitler-mobile"

I can't blame them at all for wanting to distance themselves as far as possible from any form of war related toys.

I've been thinking along the same lines. Any car as long as it was sufficiently small, round and compact enough would suit such an iconic character.

The only problem is without the added bonus of his vehicle mode also being an upgrade of his G1 mode, I think most people would Starscream about having to pay the same price for a smaller bot, and it just wouldn't sell well enough.

if VW was serious about redeeming themselves then they would cancel all production of any current and future versions of the beetle. that car is irredeemably tainted by the "Hitler Seal Of Approval". but no, VW doesn't care so long as the car is profitable.

i say just be patient, vw will probably jump on when the movie comes out. the honda's are fine not my fav cars but tremendously better than the vipers, which i think are ugly cars, and horrible bot modes.

What's wrong with Vipers? IMHO, it's one of the better looking cars that came out in a long time.

i think the older vipers were a lot better looking than the current model

Yeah, I agree. But the Viper SRT-10 Competition edition looks great! That's why I bought a bunch of Dead Ends...

Alt Sideswipe was a huge disappointment - I really didn't like that particular version of the Viper.
