That Unicron appears so much in the TF universe, that even the transformers aren't too worried about him?

 

1986: "It's UNICRON!!! RUN!!! FLEE FOR YOU LIVES!!!"

2005:"IT'S...Unicron?"

 

"eh, just set another place at the table. No worries."

I think TF shot the load once Unicron appeared in Armada. If they had planned to keep the universe/storyline going through Energon, then what would've been cooler is having guys like Sideways appearing throughout Armada, giving a sense of dread that something's coming--like the ending of "War Within: The Dark Ages"--and have those be Unicron's heralds. Then in Energon, planets start disappearing throughout all of space, and it's not revealed to be Unicron until the last few episodes. That would've been cool.

They actually should have had Unicron span several series in the background, barely being hinted at. (kind of what you're saying, right?) That way, they could have built his mystique and menace towards the transformers, and the universe at large.

could someone fill me in on the whole heralds and their stories please?  i mean i know who the heralds are, but the stuff from the mag that explains U-Nem Prime, Ramjet, etc...  to me they've only been toys with no backstory.

In the comics, Unicron's heralds were versions of Ramjet, Thunderwing, Bludgeon, Scourge and Galvatron from G1--except they weren't called by their names. Unicron had plucked them from various realities to act as his heralds, sending them ahead to prepare the planet for consumption and destroy that planet's Megatron and/or Optimus (or so I gathered). At one point, we get glimpses of the RiD, BW, BM and BWNeo universes inside warp gates. Also, Unicron devours one version of Cybertron and consumes then posesses "Spinister" to converse with Optimus.

Yeah, that's why i was asking about Ramjet and U-Nem Prime.  I read the end of Armada, with Galvy, Dirge, Thuderwing, Scourge, and Bludgeon.  Someone said that the tfcc mag gave backstories to Ramjet and U-Nem Prime?

Yep Ramjet is realy cool he has like melting armour and tenticles coming out of his shoulders and stuff!

i think i could give jack about thw show. i would have rather focused on the comic. seemed more to the point. I REALLY hated that show!
