Prototype G1 Swoop

Yeah but this is unique, MISB Fort Maxes go for more than this (at the moment) and as rare as they are, they are relatively numerous in comparison

True.

WTF?! I bet someone handed him under the table money and or he got busted by upity Hasbro folk.

The first is the most likely of the two. If Hasbro wanted it pulled, the auction would be deleted.

Hey maybe it's a proto for a Swoop Reissue*!

i get offers to but always tell them no special cases, it's bad for buisness imo.

And while it could be a fake, I seriously doubt it, seeing as how ALL the chrome would have to be perfectly removed.

which isn't very hard; just use bleach or 409 cleaner. it removes chrome w/o hurting the plastic.

I'm not trying to bash this proto; it just seems fishy to me. I could be wrong.

but swoop never had yellow plastic under the chrome ;) you can see enough worn old ones on ebay to verify that ;)

True.

Just saying they could have stripped the chrome and paint, then repainted him krylon fusion colors. IMO.

Hi GUYS!!!!

I'm the owner of the prototype swoop that was on ebay. I was reading the thread about it on the internet about it possibly being a fake, I sold it, etc. The true story is that I ended the auction because I realize how rare it was. I had several crazy offers, but I turned them all down. Anyways, it was fun reading the thread. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I can be contacted at hquach1@san.rr.com my ebay user id is vintagetf.

Oh yea, here are some pictures =)

Thanks!

Hon
