Hasbro Improvements

In my experience Hasbro's QA is better than Takara's. Also many of Takara's figures are missing the electronics.

Except for RID Scourge. We got the shaft in America with that one. Wait... did their's have electronics?

Nope.

I think since it's a remold of G2 Laser OP, that's where the welded battery cover comes from.

It's because people are used to having all the Bots and Cons have some sort of faction symbol on them...

They supposed to be "Robots In Disguise".  How can you be in Disquise if you have a gigantic Autobot logo on your hood?

I remember the G1s had faction logos that you had to rub to see.

They had rubsigns starting in 1985, primarily to distinguish TFs from Go-Bots and the like. But every single TF had Autobot / Decepticon stickers plastered all over them -- most notably Optimus Prime on the sides of his trailer.

Correct, Laser OP had the electronics.

By the way, on my CR Black Convoy it's a frickin' sticker covering the battery area - does RID Scourge have the sticker or does it have a plastic cover for the battery compartment?

I think it's molded plastic based on what I've heard, but I gotta find an RiD Scourge to be 100 %sure.

Hasbros Alts are the win. Seriously, I've not had a problem with any of them, compared to my couple of BT's who all ('cept Swindle) have loose joints and generally have trouble with joints.

The cheaper prices, in addition with the comparable production quality and easier acquisition means, in all lines, I am very much a fan of Hasbro.

Just a plastic cover.

Because, none of the cons, or bots where smart enough to look at the faction logos, nor were the humans... Like in the cartoon, were the stunticons came in, Oh they have con logos, but their cars.... They must be autobots!!! :roll
