why the hell was energon scropinok in their?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

First thing I thought as well. Speaking of which what was with the shot of Energon Megatron? Probably more examples of transformations/TF designs I guess. Well it looks like everything reguarding the creators is now officially confirmed. I don't care if Bay's directing but he better not dumb this down to a Thynderbirds level.

BTW Returner was awsome. :thumb

Uhh, you do realize that there isn't a script.....right?  :wtf

Concept sketch, in this instance, means that they're trying to give the audience of that panel an idea of what to expect from their project. That includes using pictures from other sources to outline their plan.

I wasn't aware a concept sketch was meant to include such things as other media or examples, I thought it meant more like "this is the progress we've made so far in designing this character."  Certainly the inclusion of those other items is meaningful in that it shows the degree of believability they can achieve with the FX team, but I just didn't assume that all fit under the "concept sketch" moniker.

Guess I was thinking "CHARACTER concept sketches" and not overall project concept... apples and oranges I suppose :D

what was that whole "TINFOIL BOOK" thing about??

i like to be vague about my HEADINGS - gets attention, creates curiosity and bugs the hell outta peeps!

Energon Megatron and Energon Scorponok were in it, but once again, they were just examples of what the transformations could be like. Both of those and Optimus, Rodimus, Omega Supreme, and Hot Shot, all got 3d models that transformed. They were on Hasbro's website for awhile, not sure if they still are. They were actually very cool and well done.

You guys can Starscream all you want about the movie, but we all know you'll end up going to see it anyways.

Yeah, and probably buy the toys too. :D

( At least we're getting another movie.)

BUGGERIN COMPLETIST - sorry just insultin myself!!

If the worst is coming, why don't we just hang up anything transformers and go home? Better yet, I think it's going to be a bad day at work tmr, so I better quit my job.

Guess, I'm just thankful someone is acknowledging tfs, something I love since as a kid who like many here grew up in the 80s, and making a movie out of it. Preproductions have not even started yet, and it's already a bad movie. (sigh...)

Man, I've been reading all of this and WOW some of you die hards out there need to lay off the coffee...........

I'm not expecting much from this project at all. I don't like Bay as a director ....everything he's done is bubble gum and roman candles. Speiburg lost my respect after the Jerasic park phase. He has not achieved anything worth noting since indiana jones and shindlers list, except maybe saving privite ryan. oh well.

How ever I'm glad that I have these preconsived ideas in my head cos' when the movie comes out and I like most of you will see it (because regardless of how the story will be it will still be fun to watch) if it sux I won't be disapointed but if it is suprisingly good then it just made the movie experiance all the worth while.

This is one movie where I am there to see the effects and watch stuff transform.
