25 euro's at one store, 28 at TRU (and the local TRU has 12 unsold Swindles to show for it. On top of that, we've only had three alts so far :tfsad. Fortunately, these days the Internet and on-line stores exist, or else I would have very little alts.

 

 

Anyway, it's good to hear there are 11 new alts coming. And now the eager waiting and anticipating begins for the first prototypes to surface or rumors for those 6 (or 4) new molds.

well...we just need the minimum wage laws adjusted in the US...thanks to inflation, what 20 bucks bought 4 years ago doesn't really = what 20 bucks buys these days.

 

Hasbro has been being generous over here.  With a shoddy economy and operating costs only going up, they've maintained the same price points for years.

 

Even if for some odd reason, they do hit $30 (i'm guessing $24.99 myself), I'd do it too if I were them.  They are taking a huge step with the movie and they want the merchandise to be there for EVERYONE...not just our fandom.

 

Finally, folks who never enjoyed transformers will get to enjoy them and personally, I think that's awesome.  My wife never really knew much about them, but she thinks they are neat and is glad I've got a hobby that is something better than being an alcoholic or a coke-head.

 

Transformers will be the new PANACEA!!! They will fix all of the world's problems(okay...that's stretching it)

 

No figures with the Alts from the BTA line....if you want the figure, import it.  Nuff said.

Very true. G1 Galvatron cost $39.99 back in the day, which is exactly what you would have paid for Energon Megatron.

Yeah, but are Basics really worth $7 a pop?  Some of them are really simple.  I mean, you can get Marvel Legends figures for that, which are a lot bigger and a lot more complex.  I don't feel like a lot of Deluxes are worth $10, either.  I mean, some are, some aren't.  It seems like with TF's you get raped as often as you get deals.
