Considering the complexity of the Alts compared to the Voyager class main-line toys, I was always a bit surprised they had the same pricepoint.

$30 seems to be more in line with what could be charged - especially when Hasbro has undoubtedly seen the price most new Alts go for in the secondary market - I can see why they'd like to make a bit more cash themselves.

Looking at the history of the way these repaints have gone, 3 each so far of some of them, which vehicles will be the repaints and can you guess which characters the 5 will be? Alts of course.

Wrx=Red alert as the third?

Jeep= Trailbreaker as the third?

RX8=  Breakdown/Brakedown as the third?

These are just some examples. What are your predictions or hopes?

yes!!!!  So that means no new molds for the rest of 2005?  bummer.

Skids.

But any hoo. Im glad I came here and read the TFormers.com post. Over on TFW2005 they made it seem like we'd be getting bigger alts definitely. Im happy to hear 6 new molds though. Can't wait. So that new Alt packaging was a romour.

I hope a bigger Alternator price also means bigger Alternators.

I said it was beginning to gear up, especially with the movie on the way

I hope a bigger Alternator price also means bigger Alternators.

I hope bigger price means better packaging, Bios/stats included and other inserts.

That hardly justifies a ten dollar price increase. They could put these in plain brown boxes for all I care, as long as I get Alternator jets.

sweet jiminy christmas!!!

that master galvatron makes for an even better megatron colorscheme wise

I hope bigger price means they will paint the figures and not just use colored plastic...because Alt Sunstreaker is going to look really cheap with just yellow plastic.
