Lots of pics! All useless.

Bah, to hell with these prototypes.  If I want to pay more money for a Transformer, I'll buy the Binal-Tech version.

You think they're not having prototypes on eBay? Think again!

Nice find.  :thumb

That is so mistransformed it looks like Energon Demolisher, and that is not good for an Alt. The head scupt looks good, and between Ironhide, and Skids, I'd say this is more sutable as Skids. I can also see a floor is no longer a priority in vehicle mode. :tdown

On topic Proto pics are cool and for some develope a real sense of excitement, and anticipation. On the downside a half finished unpainted TF can stir up quite the rabid Blotstorm within a fandom. Maybe it's best for everyone if Has/Tak wakes up and tightens there security as to what goes in and what comes out when in the research/developement stage.

If a leaked proto isn't bad enough there repeatedly being sold online by people who are obviously obtaining these illeagally. Personally I wouldn't want to buy something that was stolen. It's the same situation right now with the movie industry and the crack down on piracy. Big companies are losing out on big money because of instances where a product hits the consumer before it's initial release date.

Personally I think it would be better for Has/Tak to prevent leaks as such until the time right before they release it. That way there are no questions as to what they released or continuous debates reguarding who it is and how much it sucks or doesn't. Speculation isn't bad I just find some take it further than need be in there opinions.

By the way congrats on your win Generation Zero, let's hope Has/Tak doesn't come after you. :inheek I've already had several friends get into legal issues with big name film companies for illeagle copyrighted downloading. Not pretty.

eh... I have no problem with people buying protos, means the comps need better security...

But those losses are due to thousands, sometimes millions of people stealing from a company. Tens of toys hitting the "black market" is going to do absolutely nothing to the companies unless the buyers are competitors hoping to reverse engineer and KO the toy in question which they could do just as well after release.

I'd have absolutely no remorse stealing from Hasbro, or any other company at this level.

Huh? What kind of logic is that? You're saying it's OK to do something illigal, because it's the company's respncibility to prevent such actions? It's like saying that murder and homocide are perfectly fine, because it's the government who has to prevent those people from acting. That is stupuid, whatever happened to personal responsibility?

If you buy something that you know is illigal, then that act in itself is illigal, everyone knows that. I have one prototype TF myself. If I get 'caught', I will take full responsibility for my actions. I knew when I bought this thing, that is wasn't obtained through regular channels. That guy who tried to sell that prototype knew what the risks inveolved were, and knew he was breaking the law. It is his own responsibility to sell that, and he has to face the consequences for it. So does everyone who does something illigal. It's that simple. Breaking the law is fine, I don't care about that. But if you get caught doing so, take responsibility, and face the consequences of your actions.

That is my opinion, and that's that. :P

part of me still thinks that protos are leaked though, all it does for hasbro is create an incredible buzz for a new toy, and it doesnt even mean that the toy is gonna get made
