i was always planning to take the blue Integra Type R to be Skids since Skids was originally a sporty, nimble, Honda City Turbo!!! it's only "proper" for Alt Skids to follow the same formula.  Actually i was planning one day to bash him into the current Civic Type R!!!  but anyhow i feel the transformation of "prowl"'s RSX Type S would suit and compare to G1 Skids... plus it's coming out in BLUE!!!

 

if Ironhide had to be some WIMPY box on wheels... i would have chose the Honda Element instead... tho i still feel it doesn't suit Ironhide's PERSONA... NATO had the best design and comparable vehicle make and model.  I wonder if there are any 1:24 model kits for the Honda Element...

 

Rachet... sure hope it's Ratchet for the repaint... interesting ideas fellas about the Ambulance vs. Paramedic idea... Viagra Prime i believe mentioned it and it's true, all white box on wheels Scion xB with the cross and such to be a paramedic in bot mode.  if in battle, ratchet can carry all "busted" and "broken" limbs of fallen fellow autobots back to base!!! not exactly the ENTIRE robot itself... but bits and pieces!

 

I still think the Dodge Magnum would be the perfect 'horse' for Alt Ironhide.

Wether you like the xB or not, you gotta hand it to the Toyota design team-- they got us going off on this mold for 8 pages now... more discussion in a single thread about a single new figure than I've seen for a while.

I don't think anyone should be acting all grateful for this toy, just because of the crappy Diaclone van that was used as Ironhide in G1. So what if it was, that doesn't excuse this sorry piece crap that people call a car.  Even if it's not Ironhide, it's still a terrible alt mode for any Transformer.

 

I think what you're forgetting is that some of us aren't just accepting the model of car, we actually like it.

 

The Scion xB is a step-backward in aerodynamics.

 

Although it apperas to be it gets the same gas mileage, and driving noise as it's more rounded counterpart, the xA, and supposedly better handling, so...

 

...the Scion Rectangle is a real piece of junk. The only thing the car is good for is to be smashed by a monster truck.

But paramedics drive ambulances.  They don't drive any other car to emergencies.  Unless you mean make Ratchet a paramedic and his alt mode be just a regular white Xb or something, then maybe that's possible.  But imagine the outrage if Ratchet is not an ambulance, or at least an emergency vehicle of some kind. *gasp*

Not quite true, in the Uk paramedics drive all sorts of mundane cars from volvos to renaults, chances are in Japan they do the same

Since Ironhide's head looks like Hot Rod's, and Swerve will come with Track's flame sticker, waddya all think about giving Swerve Ironhide's head to make Hot Rod? :lol:
