Size wise in Alt mode, it looks like it'll be the same as the Swindle/Hound mold.   

Nice to see they're not limiting themselves to just cars but I would have expected a NON VEHICLE FRONT CHEST. Anyway, still  a breath of fresh air. I  bet alot will still buy this one me included  :tftongue

I dont get the dissapointment about ironhide, we was a headless toy that got his head blown off in the movie...

 

the only respectable ironhide to date has been beast wars ironhide (part of magaboss) or the f-ing spychanger...

 

it isnt easy getting these licenses, we should take what we can get and stfu

 

 

swerve was a repaint of Brawn, and now he is a REPAINT OF TRACKS... it could be much worse

I like that digi paint. I'm not overly fond of the alt mode but like smithsquared said, I'll take whatever we can get. This looks good in bot mode and it's the guy I've been waiting for all along Ironhide... I sure hope that's what his name WILL be. Keep them coming Hastak, alot of people will Starscream and moan but we'll all still be buying them anyway.

I should've seen this coming with the Scion's advertising scheme.. the whole Customize, play with it angle...

 

I fall squarely in the camp that doesn't like this car. I don't like seeing it drive down the road, I think the idea of pre-customizing is a bit of a cop-out, and so on... But I will also give it the benefit of the doubt in regardst hat I haven't actually been up close and personal to a Scion yet.

 

 

I will say this: I've decided my first new car will be an 05/06 Ford Mustang GT coupe (hardtop), solely because of Grimlock. I am seriously thinking of even checking into what it would take to get the plates right! The dealer looked at me aghast when I said that I had absolutely no interest in the standard model (he had no GT's on the lot, and -really- wanted to sell the base unit to me)..

 

So if the Alt. Grimlock inspired me that much, who knows, maybe my opinion of the Scion will change.

 

 

... I still think the Chevy Avalanche would be a better fit, in the line as a whole.

I have hated this ca..van...bus....VEHICLE since I first saw the commercial for it. paint is yellow and you get a very short bus. The only redeeming factor that will make me buy it is it's Ironhide. It looks like Nato's sketches too. Freaky.

Not a great mold.  But then after Prowl my expectations were very low anyway.

 

I guess there's not much one can do when tying to create a robot from such a vehicle.

here are my 2 cents. We may be flameing the hell out of this thing right now, However in a few months, after we'ev seen "offical" painted pics of it.  I'm sure all that flameing haterid will die off, and we(for the most part) will end up buying it.  Now dont get me wrong I think the scion looks like an, ugly boring box.  I cant say its the best choice for Ironhide, but its certanly not the worst.  the could have made him in to something that doesnt even resymble his old g1 form, like they did with grimlock. 

oh well, at least I'ev got something that will look good as soundwave, when I'm done with it.

on a side note I'm really not supprised we are getting an alt verson of a Sicon. Does anyone remeber the first commercal they had for it??? It was the one where it was driveing thrue a cgi looking world, and it then transformed in to a syudo ravage cat looking then back again.

I for one dont think it was that hard to get approval on this one :thumb

 

and hell at least we arent getting another sports car :)
