why is there confusion over the size of

Recommended Posts

If Spike is the head of a robot Optimus Prime's size Couldn't Fort Max still be huge? Then again they should be the same size. No, forget this, Fort Max is Huge. That's why his name is Fortress Maximus.

As far as Brave Max vs. Fort Max, supposedly they were the same character as RID made it sound like, and just for the simple fact that a human becomes the head of a TF who in turn becomes the head for Max, they would have to be the same size, even if they really were seperate characters.

RID's dub slaped extra G1 referances in random places, Brave Max is genualy thought to be a remnet of the fleet of Maximi that battled Unicron in BWNeo

Huh?

this is OOT, but hornet, could u summarise ur topic title more?

like this thread could be Fort Max Vs Metroplex in Size or Fort Max Vs Metroplex. Stop making a long title and cutting the rest of the topic title in the topic description. its Topic Title and Topic Description. Not Title part 1 and Title Part 2.

it gets irritating when i read a TFormers news and i see a half thread title like "why is there confusion over the size of".

hey its just me. i just needed to voice that out.

Fort Max is as tall as Powermaster Prime, if you read the comics

Yea the problem is that the comics and the cartoon where totally different sizes. Also that Fortress Maximus is supposed to be a city in the cartoon as well, so people get confused. But Fort Max is a much bigger city and they don't really show the two characters next to each other at any time.

But we all get confused because of the animation since sometimes Soundwave is as tall as Devestator...  :wtf

i was always sure that fort max was the bigger one. I dont believe that RI is a good example of any size comparison. the bw characters were was as tall a prime...

Well the different with Fort Max and Scorponok, unlike their Rebirth counterparts, they were already robots on Cybertron that went to Nebulos and got new heads. In fact, in the comics, Galen turns into Fort Max's head a couple times, cancelling out Cerebros' function.

Also in the Japanese cartoons, Fortress Maximus was already around when he showed up. He was built to be a giant space ship. I haven't seen him Transform yet, and Mega Zarak hasn't shown up yet either, but I suspect that he is being built (only watched up to #7 Headmasters)

In Rebirth, Fort Max and Scorponok were entire cities that turned into robots. When they transformed and fought on Cybertron, they were humomgous, easily bigger than Brave Max in RID. But RID Cybertrons were smaller than G1 TFs anyways. You can tell because they did not use mass-shifting in that show. They just transformed and were whatever size their vehicle mode was. Well except that Gelshark was a giant shark but that doesn't count.

Now Metroplex was said to be Autobot City, which I agree to, but he must not be the whole thing. That reason is because after the movie, they show Metroplex and he doesn't look like Autobot City. I bet he was just a part of Autobot City and not the whole thing. Because if he was, he COULD be the same size as Hive City, and thus Trypticon would have been their size too. But no.

So it all depends on what you look at. I personally see it that Headmasters and Rebirth Fort Max were the same size, but that their origins are different. And Scoponok is his size in Rebirth but no where else.

Metyroplex IS autobot city, they made Floro Dary redisign his origional verdsion to match with Metroplex's alt mode.

Don't the tech specs settle this one real quick...with Metro being like 800 feet tall or something?

What does Fort Max' tech spec say?
